May favourites πŸ’•πŸŒž

Hola lovelies πŸ’•,

It was so hot these days 🌞πŸ”₯. I’m happy Summer is back but I can’t deal with the heat. In The Netherlands 30 degrees is way too much and also humid. In Spain I’m used to the Summer but it’s dry which is different. Right now, there’s a bit of a storm. Always the same weather here haha. I’m really happy I enjoyed some beach days which I will share with you all soon. Now, I will share about my May favourites. In this blog post I will share about my bike tour 🚲 through Haarlem with my mother, writing a story for a writing contest πŸ“ and winning some giveaways.

Things I did with my lovely family πŸ‘ͺ:

Bike tour through Haarlem 🚲🌞

I love biking through Haarlem with mamita 😍. It’s been ages since I used the bike haha how bad πŸ˜‚. I just feel sometimes a lack of energy or my heart beats fast when I bike. I do it on my own time with my mother. I don’t have a bike to use in Spain. It’s been lovely weather all these months. I’m so grateful for these beautiful moments full of sunshine πŸŒž. I’m also blessed to live in Haarlem, such a romantic city. I prefer small cities so much more than big cities. We did a bike tour from our house through our park to Haarlem city. We sat along the river Spaarne and saw some cute animals such as lama’s, a pony and a duck with babies. I loved it. They were so cute!!! On the way home we saw my brother and his wife from the balcony. I hate to not be able to hug each other normally but it is what it’s. Better than nothing. I love you. I believe in the good things coming. Stay safe you all πŸ’ž

Mother’s Day πŸ’

I was sad that we couldn’t celebrate Mother’s Day like we always do each year with the whole family. At least, my brother and his wife came to our home to give my mother beautiful flowers, a card, pie they made and chocolate. I gave my mother also a handmade card and a phone case with flowers and a butterfly on it. She loved it very much. I’m sure next year will be better. I’m so happy to have a beautiful mother like you are. Thank you for being there for me in good and bad times. I love you till the moon and back πŸ’–πŸŒœπŸŒ›.

Walks in the park 🌳

I had some nice walks with my mother in the park and we enjoyed the sunshine. One day we ate delicious ice cream 🍦. My mother ate a Magnum and I ate a raket rocket. I love it! I also enjoyed the daisies and the other beautiful yellow flowers 🌻. I love to see the flowers blossom and all the green in the park. It’s such a beautiful world.

Watching Eurovision Europe shine a light πŸ’‘πŸŽΆ

There was no real Eurovision this year but I’m happy to have enjoyed this alternative show called ”Europe shine a light”. I always watch Eurovision every year together with my mother. Music always unites people and especially in hard times. I loved to see Duncan Laurence singing his new single Someone Else. It was so beautiful 😍🎀. I loved the orchestra performance too. I also loved so much when all the participants across Europe performed the song Love Shine A Light by Katrina And The Waves. I hope next year I can join the family show with my friend live in Rotterdam because I already bought tickets for it.

Watched Begin again, Frankie and Johnny & the serie Never have I ever 🎬

I loved the movie Begin again with Keira Knightley and Adam Levine. It’s a sweet movie about a singer-songwriter who is chasing her dreams. I loved the songs and it really inspired me to follow my dreams. I love singing so much too but I don’t know if being famous would be something for me. I also liked the movie Frankie and Johnny with the famous actors Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. Johnny has just been released from prison, and gets a job in a cafΓ© beside waitress Frankie. Frankie is a bit of a loner, but Johnny is determined their romance will blossom. I think it was a beautiful movie that makes you think about how love finds you. It wasn’t a clichΓ© movie at all. I also loved the first season of the serie Never have I ever which I saw on Netflix. All episodes are just 20 or 30 minutes long. It’s about The complicated life of a modern-day first generation Indian American teenage girl, inspired by Mindy Kaling’s own childhood. It was so good. It was about the trauma of loosing a parent, grief, heartbreak, friendship, family, school, the Indian and American culture and love. I cried and laughed at the same time while watching these episodes. I can’t wait for a second season!!!! 😍

Operación Triunfo 2020 🎀

My favourite Spanish talent show OperaciΓ³n Triunfo 2020 came back for a month 🎢. It got suspended in March because of the pandemic. The 9 contestants had to leave the singing academy. In this academy they also sleep. You can watch what they do on a livestream because there are camera’s in the academy. It’s so much fun. Every week there’s a liveshow where they sing some songs. At the end the winner got chosen a few weeks ago. I’m so happy Nia won because she rocked every song which they had given to her. She can sing, dance and perform the best. The winner gets €100.000. Sometimes I also think of going to this talent show and participating in the casting. I just don’t know if being exposed so much would trigger more of my anxiety and if it would be something for me. I love this talent show so much. The teachers and the production are so kind. In 2017 I went to one of the concerts in Madrid with my friend and it was one of the best experiences in my life. You really build such a beautiful fan relationship with the artists which come out from this talent show. I can’t wait for a new edition! πŸ’–

Things I did with my lovely friends πŸ’•:

My best friend’s birthday πŸ˜πŸŽ‰

I couldn’t celebrate the birthday of my best friend for obvious reasons. I was happy to have made her a beautiful collage which I always make and a beautiful handmade card. As you all know, I love writing letters and making cards. As present I got her Lush products which was a shower gel and soap. I’m happy she loved it. I love you to the moon and back. Thank you for being the best best friend I could wish for πŸ’•.

Sending cards to people who are sick, lonely or need to cheer up πŸ’Œ

There was a girl which I follow on Instagram who was writing cards to people she don’t know in The Netherlands. I asked to join the group and already sent more than 40 cards to people who are mentally or physically ill, lonely or just need to cheer up in The Netherlands. Coronavirus made the elderly more lonely and receiving a card made them happy. I got the stamps for free and also the beautiful cards for free because it was a donation. I love to write and help other people. It makes me feel less alone in my own struggles of this life and it makes me feel happy. I love to be of service. You never know what someone is going through so be kind always and spread love because we all need it so much πŸ’•πŸ™.

Other amazing things of May πŸ’–:

Writing a story for the Sea of words contest πŸ“

I wrote a story in Spanish for the β€A sea of words” contest. It has the same name as my blog. The European Institute of the Mediterranean tagged me on a post in Instagram. The contest is every year. This year it was about young people faced with climate change in the Mediterranean and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development 🌊. The story I wrote is about me being in the sea with my boat and then suddenly being stuck surrounded by plastic bottles. Then a man comes to help me and talks about how important it is to take action. I already won an essay contest in 2015 and spoke at the United Nations in New York City πŸ—½ so I thought why not try again even though my inner critic is loud sometimes. The jury is now reviewing the stories. The 10 best winners will be chosen in July and will go to Barcelona at the end of September for free and will have a creative writing course. It’s really so amazing. I will keep you all updated.

Winning a scarf from the shop Azabache πŸ’–

Nowadays I’m entering so many giveaways on Instagram. I love it so much especially when I win of course. I won a beautiful scarf from my favourite shop in Valladolid. Azabache has so many beautiful hippie clothes. I bought a lot of dresses and other clothes there. I won a scarf with the famous print of Gustav Klimt 🎨. It’s beautiful.

Winning books from Melissa Wells and The Goddess Collective journal πŸ“šπŸ†

I love Melissa Wells. She is a certified eating psychology coach and health coach. She has such a beautiful community. In December after doing the advent challenge I won a membership to The Godess Collective online which is a platform to work on loving ourselves, growing ourselves and has so many amazing workshops. Now I won the giveaway on Instagram. I love to keep winning stuff haha. Normally I wouldn’t won anything. I won the books from Melissa Wells which are about the diet culture, loving ourselves and having a healthy relationship with food. I don’t struggle that much with this topic but I love to learn more about it though. I also won the journal which is so beautiful. We are all goddesses yeahhh! I can’t wait to go her retreat in Bali too one day 😍🌊. That would be so magical.

Flower box postcards set 🌸

I bought a beautiful flower postcards set online. I can use them for my pen pals and other people I write. It contains 100 postcards with flowers πŸ’ by 10 different artists. The 10 cards from each artist are different from each other. I love flowers. The cards are colourful, original and just so beautiful. It was €20 but definitely worth the prize!

Thank you all for reading this blog post. What did you do in May? Did you ever won a giveaway on Instagram? Do you love to go biking? Did you ever participated in a writing contest? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love πŸ’•,

xoxo Christina

Music of March πŸŽΆπŸ’–

Hey lovelies πŸ’•,

I didn’t write a blog post for music in February just because I was doing other stuff like yoga, meditation and reading. I also don’t feel well this whole week. I have headaches, feel dizzy and have cramps 😒. I don’t know what it is but hopefully it will pass soon. Also my gum in my lower wisdom teeth hurt. I still need to get rid of three wisdom teeth but I would really love to do that all in Spain. I miss Spain so much my heart aches and wish to hopefully go soon πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈπŸ™. Of course there are great dentists everywhere but when I trust someone and had a great experience I don’t like to change that. Everything went so smoothly in January when I got rid of one wisdom teeth. I also wouldn’t like to go to the hospital here because in some cases they don’t do it in private clinics. However, I’m also enjoying the sunshine these days in the garden and my walks in the park with my mother. In this blog post I will share my favourite music from March which includes some amazing Spanish songs and amazing new songs from Demi Lovato and Dua Lipa too. I hope you will enjoy it 🎢.

Sophia Kruithof – Alaska

Sophia Kruithof won The Voice of Holland season 10 in The Netherlands. She sang her own song Alaska in the finals. It’s such a beautiful and touching song. Her voice is so beautiful and so touching. I love her honesty in the way she sings. She is a deserved winner.

OG3NE – Kinda wanna

This is one of their songs of their new album Straight to you. I love this song so much. The home isolation version is so beautiful. It’s also so difficult to sing that way. I wish to go to one of their concerts when all of this is over. I love these girls so much. This Dutch girls group is really something to be so proud of! When they sing together it sounds so good. I love the harmony between their voices so much 😍.

Jeangu Macrooy – Grow (Eurovision – The Netherlands)

”Don’t take it personally
Don’t be offended
Don’t mind my mood
Changing like the weather
God knows I try to hold it all together
I’m getting older
And it ain’t what I thought it would be

One day I’ll find
Some peace of mind
And then I’ll stop being afraid
I won’t make it through the night”

Even though Eurovision will not take place this year in The Netherlands I really loved this song. Again The Netherlands comes with a beautiful song. I didn’t know Jeangu before but he already sang for The Passion here. This song is so beautiful. I love his voice and the gospel at the middle. This song is for all the people suffering from a mental illness or feeling bad in life πŸ™. He wants to let everyone know that we have the right to feel whatever emotion we are feeling. He hopes this song makes people feel a little less lonely in their search for happiness. He thinks that openness and honesty about how we really feel will ultimately bring us closer. I so agree with him. Such a beautiful message.

Demi Lovato – I love me

Oh, why do I compare myself to everyone?
And I always got my finger on the self destruct
I wonder when I love me is enough (yeah, yeah, yeah)

The queen is back with a beautiful new song! πŸ‘ΈπŸ˜ I’m so happy Demi is back and happy because she deserves that so much. This is such a feel good song and such a beautiful feminist song. I also found myself comparing myself way too much to other people which makes me feel worse. We are all enough and a 10 out of 10 hell yeah. I also love the flashbacks of Camp Rock and Jonas Brothers in the video.

Dua Lipa – Physical

This new song of Dua Lipa is so good! I love the whole vibes and the sound of it. I feels a bit like the 80s with the lights and everything. It’s so catchy.

The Original Rudeboys – Better days

I’m so happy they are back because I love them so much. This is such a great new song of them. It just makes me feel relaxed and chill. I can’t wait for more new music of them.

RosalΓa – Dolerme

RosalΓa is back with a beautiful Spanish song. Her voice is so beautiful and sounds like an angel especially when she sings those high notes. I love this song! πŸ’•

Sofia Ellar – Tan solo soy real

Tan solo soy real is the live album from Sofia Ellar. She has included the songs which she sang live during her concert in Wizink Center in Madrid. I would love to go again to one of her concerts. She is one of my favourite Spanish artists ever. Her songs are so pure and honest. She is an amazing singer-songwriter. I will share some of my favourite songs of this live album below.

Sofia Ellar – Mundos

This song is so beautiful! πŸ’– I love it. It’s so good and definitely brings the good vibes of the beginning of the concert. I wish I was there so that I could enjoy it too. The instruments also sounds so amazing.

Sofia Ellar – VersiΓ³n de cobarde

This song is one of my favourite songs of her because it’s so pure and honest. She had a lovely cat named Dorian who got lost and passed away. She wrote this song for her passed cat. Such a sad story but such an amazing song. You can feel her emotion through this song.

Miriam RodrΓguez – No sΓ© quiΓ©n soy

Wow such an amazing song! Miriam wrote this song about people suffering with Alzheimer. It’s about not knowing who you are and not having memories. It’s so sad but she sings it beautifully. I find it really important that artists sings about this theme because it’s important to raise awareness and help the people who suffer from this horrible illness πŸ˜’πŸ™.

Victoria – Tears getting sober (Eurovision – Bulgaria)

”Strained but my tears are getting sober now
And I’ve been here before so
Weight that I’m holding on my shoulders
I’m gonna let it go”

This song is SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!! ✨ I love this song. I’m sad that Eurovision is cancelled this year because maybe this song would have won. I agree with people saying that maybe she got inspiration from Billie Elish. I think there’s nothing wrong with that because every artist has their inspirations. This song is so mysterious, wonderful and really makes you feel a lot of emotions. The video is so wonderful made, so simple and yet it captivates you straight away. I love when music does that to you.

Davina Michelle – Beat me (Official song F1 Grand Prix)

I have nothing with Formule 1 races but this year it would be here in The Netherlands. It’s now cancelled of course. The Dutch singer made this song for the races. I really like it. It sounds really good.

Anne – SaltΓ©

I love Anne from the newest edition of the Spanish talentshow OperaciΓ³n Triunfo. When they were in the singing acedemy they produced their own songs. This song is so cute!!! I love her voice. I love the pure and honesty of her. This song is really just her essence which I love so much.

Chica Sobresalto – Oxitocina

Chica Sobresalto also known as Maialen was participating in the same talentshow as Anne. She was already an artist before she entered the academy. This song is just WOW amazing!!!! I love it because it sounds a bit pop/rock 🀘. She writes and produce such great songs. She has so much personality in her songs and she is always herself. I love those artists the most who are completely themselves on stage and in life.

Jorge Dexler – Codo con codo

Jorge made this song for what’s happening now in the world with the Coronavirus. He sings about hugs that will come again and that all will be well again. It’s a song with a beautiful message which we all need to hear right now.

Thank you all so much for reading this blog post. Hopefully you listened to some of these songs. I hope you liked them. What was your favourite song? Which is one song you listen to often? What was your favourite song in March? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love πŸ’•,

xoxo Christina

Spotify Wrapped 2019 πŸŽΆ

Hey lovelies πŸ’•,

I love to read other music reviews of 2019 and I also loved to see mine. I’m excited to share it with you all. Music is life. We can know a person’s personality through their music style. I love Taylor Swift, she’s my favourite artist of this decade and forever. I love romantic music and music which touch my soul 🎢. It has to make me feel something. Music is always there for us, in good and bad times. I can definitely see within the years I have Spotify how my music taste has changed depending on what I was going through in my life.

How my music changed within the seasons

Winter β„οΈβ˜ƒοΈπŸŒ¬οΈ

In the Winter I listened to Ariana Grande, Alfred GarcΓa and the podcast of Yoga Girl. The new album Thank u, next of Ariana just came out and I had it on repeat. Same goes for the album of Alfred which came out in December. I also listened a lot to the podcast of Yoga Girl – conversations from the heart. I listen to her podcast every week so that doesn’t change at all.

Spring 🌼🌷🌻

During the Spring time I listened again a lot to Ariana Grande, Alfred GarcΓa and to the podcast of Yoga Girl – conversations from the heart. What changed was that I also listened a lot to the song Arcade of the Dutch Duncan Laurence which was the winner of Eurovision. Best song ever. Goosebumps all the time.

Summer 🌞🌊

In the Summer I only listened to Taylor Swift’s new album Lover. Best album ever πŸ˜πŸ’–. I still listen to it. I also listened to the podcast of Yoga Girl of course. That never changes haha.

Autumn πŸπŸƒ

During Autum my music didn’t change that much. I still listened to Taylor Swift, and also to a new podcast of Yoga Girl which is Yoga Girl daily. The daily version are just 5 minutes each day which could be a meditation or an insight or thankful Thursday. I also listened to Miki NΓΊΓ±ez who represented Eurovision for Spain last year πŸŽ‰πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ.

Top artist of 2019

My top artist was Ariana Grande which was surprising to me because deep down in my heart my top artist is Taylor Swift haha sorry, no not sorry πŸ˜‚πŸ’–. I also love Ariana so much and because her album came earlier I listened more to her album in the beginning of 2019. Maybe, next year this changed. I listened more than 10 hours to her music. My favourite song was bloodline. I love this song.

Top artists of 2019

I’m not surprised that these are my top artists as they are my favs but I also thought Amaia and Sofia Ellar would make the list. I also listened so much to them. Maybe, next year. I love Ariana, Taylor, Alfred, Julia and Aitana. I love to listen to American artists and Spanish ones.

World citizen

I listened to a lot of music from different countries of the world 🌍. I listened to music from 24 different countries. I listened to music from USA (Ariana Grande), of course Spain a lot (Aitana), United Kingdom (Ed Sheeran), Avicii (Sweden, his posthumous album was beautiful… I still miss him so much) and also BTS (South Korea).

My top genres

I listened mostly to pop music, Spanish pop, Dutch pop, Colombian pop and R&B in Spanish. It’s just all pop except of the R&B.

My top 10 songs

1. Arcade – Duncan Laurence
2. Lover – Taylor Swift
3. The Archer – Taylor Swift
4. Bloodline – Ariana Grande
5. La Venda – Miki NΓΊΓ±ez
6. Fake Smile – Ariana Grande
7. Anxiety – Julia Michaels ft. Selena Gomez
8. Imagine – Ariana Grande
9. Bad Idea – Ariana Grande
10. You Need To Calm Down – Taylor Swift

I love all of these songs and artists. They all have a special place in my heart πŸ’ž.

My top podcast

The only podcast I listen to is the one of Yoga Girl – conversations from the heart. I listened 3007 minutes to her podcasts which is more than 50 hours. Her podcasts are the best. She’s the biggest inspiration in my life. Her podcast are so inspiring and full of beautiful lessons. They are about self love, mental health, trauma, healing, yoga, motherhood, relationships, life, death and everything in between. I wish to meet her one day and go to a yoga retreat in Aruba πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ό because it’s my biggest dream evah πŸ˜πŸ’–πŸ™βœ¨.

Time spent on Spotify from the last decade

Last year I listened to more music on Spotify than this year. If you see the minutes I listened to music on Spotify in 2015 until now it definitely decreased. I think in 2015 I still listened to break up music so had to use Spotify for that.

The best music of the decade

My music taste changed a lot during this decade because at the end of 2012 I experienced my first and only heartbreak πŸ’”πŸ˜’. I listened a lot to the song A drop of the ocean and other songs of Ron Pope. I also listened a lot to all the break up songs of The Script. I don’t like The Script so much anymore because they changed way too much. After those years I listened a lot to Passenger. Let her go is my favourite song of him. I loved his concert where I went to a few years ago. In 2017 the song Despacito was such a hit through the whole world. Last year I listened a lot to Sofia Ellar and I still do. I love her so much. This year was the year of Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. My favourite song of the year is Arcade because that’s the winning Eurovision song and made so much impact on me 😍😭. I needed this song to heal my broken heart at the end of this decade. It touched my heart in so many ways.

Duncan Laurence – Arcade

My top artist of the decade

The artist of the decade for me is Passenger which is normal when you saw above that I listened to his songs a lot during this decade. Now, I listen more to up beat and happy songs but also more slower ones. It’s nice to listen to all different kinds of music styles.

Stats of 2019

Ariana, Taylor, Alfred, Julia and Aitana are my top artists of 2019 of course. I listened 7233 minutes to Spotify which is a lot. My top genre is of course pop πŸ’ƒ.

My decade wrapped

My top artists of this decade are Passenger, The Script, Ron Pope, Frank Hamilton and Joshua Radin. These are all artists I listened to after the break up of my first love. The next decade this will definitely change because I almost don’t listen to these artists anymore. My favourite number was definitely Let her go from Passenger. I also loved Rojitas las orejas from Fito y Fitopaldis. This is one song I listened to a lot when I liked a Mexican πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ guy haha it was our song. I also loved the song Coastal Love from Honne. My top genre was of course Pop.

My top songs of 2019 – Playlist

You can listen to my songs of 2019 on this playlist which Spotify made for me. There are Spanish songs in them but also English songs.

Thank you all for reading this blog post. I hope you found it interesting to hear about what kind of music I listened to this year and decade 🎢. What are your favourite artists of 2019? What were your favourite songs this year? Which music genre do you listen to? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love πŸ’•,

xoxo Christina

Music of July πŸŽΆπŸ’—

Hola lovelies πŸ’•,

This was again such a good month full of beautiful music! 😍🎢🎡 I’m happy to share some of my favourite songs of July with you all below. I hope you will like them too.

Taylor Swift – The Archer

“All the king’s horses, all the king’s men
Couldn’t put me together again
‘Cause all of my enemies started out friends
Help me hold onto youI’ve been the archer
I’ve been the prey
Who could ever leave me, darling?
But who could stay?”

I can’t wait to buy her new album on the 23th of August which is called Lover. I love this new song of her. It’s included in her new album. It feels different than her album Reputation. I love the sound of it and it sounds and feels so dreamy. I love it so much. I can’t wait for this new era of Taylor full of hearts, flowers and colourful things. I love her so much 😍🌸. Every song she makes is so good!

Miley Cyrus – Mother’s Daughter

“Don’t fuck with my freedom.

My mama always told me that I’d make it
That I’d make it, so I made it
I put my back into and my heart in it
So I did it, yeah, I did it”

I love the new songs of Miley Cyrus! I have to admit that I had to get used to this song but I really like it. It’s a good song and it empowers women. Our freedom is the most important thing. I loved how her mother was also showed in the video. Miley Cyrus is back and I’m really happy about that.

Miley Cyrus – The Most

I love this video even if it isn’t the offical music video but it looks so cute. I love this song so much. The melody, the lyrics, the sound, just everything of it is so awesome!

Duncan Laurence – Arcade (Acoustic version)

I already told you in this blog post about Duncan Laurence winning The Eurovision Song Contest for The Netherlands. I’m just so in love with this song. He just released the acoustic version of Arcade which sounds as good as the other version. So pure and so emotional 😍😭. Goosebumps all over my body. His voice is so beautiful and this song means the most for me. FAVOURITE SONG EVAH. I can’t wait to hear him sing this song live in concert in March in Amsterdam! I also can’t wait to go to Eurovision next year.

Sam Smith – How do you sleep?

I’m done hatin’ myself for feelin’
I’m done cryin’ myself awake
I’ve gotta leave and start the healin’
But when you move like that, I just want to stay

SO GOOD! Amazing song! I love it from the beginning to the end. I love the choreography and his voice is so beautiful. I have to admit that I don’t listen to many of his songs. I guess I have to do it more.

ROSALÍA – F*cking Money Man (MilionΓ ria + Dio$ No$ Libre Del Dinero)

These are two songs which RosalΓa released together in the single F*cking Money Man. They are combined in one video. I love them so much. The first one MilionΓ ria is in Catalan. It’s a rumba. It’s about her love and hate for money πŸ€‘πŸ’°. In this first song she sings about how she would love to be a millionair to buy and do whatever she wants. However, in the other Spanish song Dio$ No$ Libre Del Dinero she sings about how she would want to burn all that money and that God has to save us from it all. I guess we all feel this way about money. It’s nice to have money but money will never buy us all the happiness we need in life. I love the meaning behind these songs and everything!

David Bisbal ft. Juan MΓ‘gan – BΓ©same

Amazing Summer song! πŸŒžπŸ’—πŸŒŠ I always have loved David Bisbal so much. I remember dancing and singing on his songs when I was younger and I still am a fan of him. I also love Juan MΓ‘gan who makes songs with a more reggeaton style. It’s a song full of good vibes, Summer vibes, happiness and love. BΓ©same means kiss me. They sing about a girl kissing him for the first time and that he will love him forever in his arms.

Sofia Ellar – La RevoluciΓ³n (For the movie Angry Birds 2)

One of my favourite artists, Sofia Ellar, from Spain has released this new song for the movie Angry birds 2. I love her so much. It’s very cute and it sticks in my head all the time!

Isma Romero ft. Alfred GarcΓa – Cicatriz

Beautiful song! I didn’t know Isma Romero before. I love their two voices together. It’s such a great song. It’s a temazo like they say in Spain!

Carlos Sadness – Ahorita

I love to discover new artists 😊. Carlos Sadness also sang a song for the album “1016” of Alfred Garcia. He is a Spanish song-writer and his songs are of the genre indie and pop. I just saw this song when I opened Youtube one day and I loved it. It’s a chill song. It’s a song about not being in a hurry. Ahorita means right now or could mean in a little while. They use this expression a lot in Latin America. I always say that I’m on my way but then I’m sometimes too late.

Ed Sheeran – No.6 Collaborations Project

I was so excited for this new album of Ed Sheeran πŸ’•. It’s an album full of collaborations with famous artists such as Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Eminem, Bruno Mars and so much more. It’s such a good album with so many styles of music like rap and pop songs! I already loved the song “I don’t care” from Ed Sheeran together with Justin Bieber. Here are my favourites songs from his new album.

Ed Sheeran ft. Camila Cabello & Cardi B – South of the border

LOVE THIS SONG 😍. I always love to hear Spanish and English together in one song. It sounds so good! I also love Camila Cabello so much. The melody is also really nice and chill.

Ed Sheeran ft. YEBBA – Best part of me

“But she loves me, she loves me
Why the hell she love me
When she could have anyone else?
Oh, you love me, you love me
Why the hell d’you love me?

‘Cause I don’t even love myself

Baby, the best part of me is you
Lately, everything’s makin’ sense, too
Oh, baby, I’m so in love with you”

WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG πŸ’—πŸ‘Œ. These are my favourites kinds of songs of Ed Sheeran. I didn’t know YEBBA before and wow she has such a beautiful voice and together with Ed Sheeran it sounds so damn good.

Ed Sheeran ft. Ella Mai – Put it all on me

I try to be strong, well, I got demons
So can I lean on you?
I need a strong heart and a soft touch
And you’re the one when I want love

Another amazing song! I love the sound of it so much. It makes me really happy to listen to this song.

Ed Sheeran ft. Paulo Londra & Dave – Nothing on you

Again I love it when I hear English and Spanish together in one song. It’s such a great mix of voices. It’s a really great song with a good beat.

BTS – Lights

“You’re my light
No matter how far apart we are”

Wow love it! What a beautiful song! This song is all about love and I also read that’s a love letter to their fans. I think that’s so sweet of them. The music video is also so pretty.

Kygo ft. Chelsea Cutler – Not ok

This song was released in May but the video came out in July. I love the clip so much and the song is just AMAZING! It’s okay to not be okay. We all search for validation like you see in this clip. At the end of the clip the girl in the pink dress says: “I want pizza.” and “I look great after a mental breakdown.” I couldn’t relate more to these two sentences hahah πŸ˜‚βœŒοΈ.

Thank you all for reading this blog post full of good music 🎢. Have you listen to any of these songs? Which one did you like? What was your favourite song in July? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love πŸ’•,

xoxo Christina
