November favourites ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿด

Hola lovelies ๐Ÿ’•,

I’m happy that my November month turned positive because in the middle of November I felt so depressed, low and anxious in Spain ๐Ÿ˜ข. I know it’s because I associate Spain now with going to the dentist which increase my anxiety. I just don’t want to feel those horrible feelings again as it makes me feel so bad. It’s just the worst. Sometimes I also think maybe the universe wants me to learn me something. I had a bad experience a few years ago with a dentist who said I was childish and was acting like a 15 years old because I was anxious and cried. This dentist in Spain is so lovely and nice so if I get all my wisdom teeth out there maybe that will cover the bad experience I had with that dentist in Holland and will feel less fearful in the future. The universe always give us situations to learn something from them ๐ŸŒŒ. I’m happy to share with you now my favourites of November which includes eating delicious tapas with my friends, shopping time in the Primark, stationery shopping and finishing writing Christmas cards ๐ŸŽ„.

Things I did with my family ๐Ÿ‘ช:

Tapas night with mamita ๐Ÿด

I enjoyed some delicious tapas with my mother ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹. This is a very funny story to be honest. We were in a famous bar in Valladolid to eat some croquetas. My mother heard some guys talking and she thought they were from another country. Suddenly they began to talk to us. One of them was from India and was working in a company in Chicago. The other man was Spanish and had his own company. They were both married. They invited us for some tapas, croquetas and a drink. My mother drank a glass of wine and I had mosto which is grape juice. Then they invited us to a second bar hahah my mother thought wow what?! It was nice to get all free food and drinks. In the second bar we ate some delicious jamรณn serrano. Then something uncomfortable happened for me. We talked about life and jobs and I said I was looking for a job. Then this Spanish man said he could offer me a job in the marketing sector in his own company. I laughed and didn’t say anything. He then said that I don’t have attitude and that isn’t good when you are looking for a job. Well, I’m not going to say anything about my anxiety and why I acted that way ๐Ÿ˜•. My mother asked for his contact details but that’s it. I don’t find it normal that a stranger says that to you. What do you think? I’m also always very careful and don’t trust people that easily. I’m not good in making choices too.

Dinner at Erchus ๐Ÿด

I had a delicious tortilla de patata with bread at Erchus. It’s not that far from us and cheap. My mother ate some delicious churros with chocolate โ˜•. This is typical Spanish and you often eat it during the cold Winter months. I love the chocolate but for a drink I prefer the hot chocolate even though this is the real chocolate drink.

Shopping time in Rio Shopping ๐Ÿ›’

One day we went to Rio Shopping in Valladolid. You have to take the bus to go there. I wasn’t feeling well in the bus twice. The second time was worse because I felt like I couldn’t breath. I know it’s anxiety but I guess it’s also because it’s always so hot everywhere which triggers my anxiety. I’m happy that afterwards we walked home from the city. I needed some fresh air. However, I enjoyed some shopping time in this big mall. I bought a nice book which is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time in Fnac. I heard a lot of good things about this book ๐Ÿ“–. My daddy has that book at home in Dutch. I also went to Primark with my mother and bought some nice things such as fluffy purple socks, frozen socks which I love, stationery set of Harry Potter, black heart panties, and a necklace from Disney which says be yourself which is already broken now. Afterwards, we went to Ikea and enjoyed some delicious hotdogs with fries ๐ŸŸ. I also loved that we could drink as much as we want. I had some lemon drink.

Dinner at El Corte Inglรฉs ๐Ÿด

I had a delicious dinner with my mother in the big shop El Corte Inglรฉs ๐Ÿ˜‹. We always love to eat sandwich ham & cheese with potatoes. My mother drank some tea and I had an ice tea. I also bought a blue striped jeans in Bershka. It’s been some time since I bought some clothes. I also bought some Christmas stickers ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿคถ at Tiger.

Watched the movie To all the boys I’ve loved before ๐Ÿ’˜๐ŸŽฌ

Finally I watched the movie To all the boys I’ve loved before with my mother at home. I want to also buy this book and read it. This movie is about Lara Jean who writes letters to all of her past loves, the letters are meant for her eyes only. Until one day when all the love letters are sent out to her previous loves. Her life is soon thrown into chaos when her foregoing loves confront her one by one. I loved this movie so much! ๐Ÿ˜ It’s a funny and romantic movie. I find the story very funny and the end is also so good. I wish I could have that happy ending too.

Buying stationery ๐Ÿ›๏ธโœ’๏ธ

I bought some amazing stationery with my mother at my favourite shop which is Action in The Netherlands. I bought some calligraphy rose gold pens, some nice stickers with dog and cats and quotes on it and a design paperpad deluxe with glitter which has 26 pages full of colours, quotes and unicorn print ๐Ÿฆ„. I also bought a mystery designpad with all pages covered of the universe, stars, astrology signs and beautiful purple and blue colours. Aaaah it’s so damn beautiful! ๐Ÿ˜โœจ๐ŸŒŒ I can use it to write quotes on it and sent that to my lovely pen pals.

Buying bath products and envelopes at Hema ๐Ÿ›€โค๏ธ

I bought some nice bath products ๐Ÿ›€ at the Hema. I bought hand cream with shea butter and eucalyptus oil and a glitter hair spray for Christmas ๐ŸŽ„โœจ I love to care about my body with great products. They smell so well and I love the design and colours. I also bought some set of envelopes, three with bubble paper and the other 20 are self adhesive which is very useful.

Inspiring talks on the airplane โœจโœˆ๏ธ

I had some good talks on the airplane this month. On the way to Spain I met a nice girl from Uruguay and the way back to Holland I met a guy from Spain. I had such a beautiful connection with him. It makes me sad that he doesn’t talk to me anymore but I’m happy that I had that conversations as sometimes you just need some good talks to get inspired and be more positive in life. We all need some positive words and some kindness. You can read about those talks in this post. I also met my lovely Spanish teacher at the airport in Madrid ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ.

Watching Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 ๐ŸŽถ

I watched Junior Eurovision Song Contest with my mother in The Netherlands. I always loved to watch it because it’s so cute to see kids singing. Spain returned after 13 years again. I’m so proud Melani got the third place with the beautiful song Marte which is about climate change and plastic waste in the ocean ๐ŸŒŠ. I wrote about her song in this post. The Netherlands got the fourth place with a dance song. I wished Spain would have won instead of Poland again. It was fun to watch.

Lovely things I did with my friends ๐Ÿ’–:

Tapas night with my lovely friends in Haarlem

The tapas night with my friends was awesome as always. I ate with my lovely friends at @lacubanitahaarlem. This time we changed from restaurant as we always ate in El Pincho. I love both of these restaurants so much. The tapas were delicious, service was fast and they were friendly and it’s not that expensive ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿค—๐Ÿด I loved the albรณndigas with tomato sauce, sweet potatoes with curry, quesadillas, croquettes, tomatoes with mozarella and jamรณn serrano with melon. I also drank a virgen cocktail with coconut syrup and pineapple.

We ate so much all together as we could eat as much as we want because it’s a fixed price. As dessert my friends enjoyed a brownie, velvet cake ๐Ÿฐ and ice cream. I always eat the dame blanche which is vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream ๐Ÿจ. I can never have enough of that as it’s my favourite dessert. We were the last ones in leaving the restaurant hahaha ๐Ÿ˜‚. Time flies when you are having fun. Afterwards, we went to see a bit of a live concert in cafรฉ Stiels.

Thank you so much for this lovely evening my friends ๐Ÿ’–. Whenever I’m with the people I love everything is fine. Thank you for always being there for me. I really needed to spend some time with my good friends as that’s also good for my mental health. It’s so important to be surrounded by people who actually care about you. Spanish vibes always ๐ŸŽ‰ I’m so blessed to have you all in my life. Real friends are the ones who are there for you in good and bad times. I’m happy I found my tribe haha. Friends who love food are the best friends you can ask for ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿด Friends forever ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ’ƒ We will see each other soon again. Love you all so much ๐Ÿ˜˜ xoxo

Pen pal letters ๐Ÿ’Œ

I got some lovely pen pal letters from pen pals in America. One was handwritten and the other one was typed. I love to receive mail so much as it always make me so happy. These two girls are from the Yoga Girl Community. I hope to meet them one day. I also get a nice letter from Jess. I loved the quotes and the lovely cactus stickers. It was all so cute ๐Ÿ’ž.

Finished writing Christmas cards ๐ŸŽ„

I wrote 32 Christmas cards for my family and friends all over the world. I’m sending 20 with the post. I always love to give and receive Christmas cards. It’s just such a nice tradition. I decorate them with washi tape, stickers and glitter. In some of them I also have a surprise which is a golden or silver star. I like to make them personal. I hope they will like them ๐Ÿ˜Š.

Thank you all for reading this blog post. I hope you all liked it. What was your favourite from my list? What did you enjoy in November? Do you also write Christmas cards? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love ๐Ÿ’•,

xoxo Christina

July favourites ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ’—

Hola lovelies ๐Ÿ’•,

It’s again time for my favourites post! ๐Ÿ˜ I can’t wait to share with you all the amazing things I did in July. It was a great Summer month and I wish to continue to enjoy Summer like I do. I wish Summer would never end as it always makes me so happy. I don’t enjoy heatwaves but I love the sunshine. I’m going to talk about my July favourites which includes eating delicious tapas and other food with my friends and family, going to the cinema after two years not going because of anxiety, my trip to Granada (will maybe make a travel blog post about the trip as well), swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, swimming in the pools here in Valladolid and much more amazing things.

Things I did with my family ๐Ÿ‘ช :

Going to the swimming pool ๐ŸŠ๐ŸŒž

I went 8 times to the swimming pool with my friend and mother. I want to go more times in August. With my friend I went the first time to the outdoor swimming pool as it was raining that day. The rest of the days I went with my friend and my mother to the outdoor swimming pool. There are a lot of outdoor swimming pools here so it’s nice to enjoy that during the hot Summer days because there’s no beach here. I swam a lot and was also reading at the swimming pool the book Everything, Everything and a Dutch psychology magazine. I also enjoyed some delicious ice creams. Swimming is so relaxing and so good for our health. Swimming all Summer long yeahhh!!! ๐Ÿ˜

Wedding pictures ๐Ÿ’’๐Ÿ‘ฐ ๐Ÿคต๐Ÿ’ ๐Ÿ’–

I finally got the pictures of my brother’s wedding from last Summer. My other brother Edward together with his wife Elke (they have a company of wedding photography) made these pictures of the wedding of Rafael and Verรณnica. They had to sort everything out so I finally got them and download them all. Maybe, I will do a seperate blog post about them because I want to share them all together. I will post a few of them below so that you can all have a preview. These pictures are so gorgeous and beautiful ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ‘Œ. It brings me back only good vibes of this unforgettable day.

Granada trip with my mother ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŒž

I just came back from Granda which is 610 km. from Valladolid and like 7 hours by bus. I love Andalucia, the south of Spain so much. My mother and I went to visit a friend of me and his family who I met during the Many Languages, One World Essay Contest in New York City in 2015. Granada is one of my favourites cities in Spain and of the whole world ๐Ÿ˜. It gives me those hippie vibes. You see people dancing, singing and playing the guitar everywhere. The people are so friendly everywhere. The tapas are so delicious. We ate a lot of them. You just have to order a drink and then you will get a free tapa which is amazing. It’s only in Granada where that happens. It’s also very hot during the day but we chilled in our 4 stars โœจ hotel.

We enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi on the terrace of the hotel. I bought some nice souvenirs and stuff in Alle Hop which is an amazing shop and other hippie shops. We also ate delicious Italian ice creams, a delicious pizza together with a glass of sangria on the terrace of our hotel. You could see the whole city. It was such a beautiful view. The only bad thing of the trip was that I lost my squeeze animal. I got anxious and cried ๐Ÿ˜ข. It just meant a lot to me because my best friend gave it for my birthday. I didn’t actually lost it but it was in my bed and the cleaners of the hotel cleaned the room and the bed so I guess they took it without knowing. I will buy a new one as I guess they won’t find it anymore.

Swimming in The Mediterranean Sea ๐ŸŒŠโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŠ

During the trip of Granada we also went one day to the beautiful beach La Rรกbita which is on La Costa Tropical ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒด The night before I couldn’t sleep so well because it was warm and felt anxious so took diazepam from my mother. It helped so that I could enjoy the beach day the next day. I already miss this beautiful beach La Rรกbita so much ๐Ÿ˜ญ The water was a bit cold which is normally more warm but I still love it always so much. There’s nothing better than swimming in the ocean and also watching a beautiful sunset on the beach. We also had a delicious meal with the family of my friend in a restaurant. I ate gazpacho which is a cold Spanish soup, croquettes with potatoes and an ice cream. It was all so delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ .

I always miss the sea and ocean when I leave it no matter where I’m. I’m forever a beach and Summer girl. The ocean is my home and my love for the ocean is infinite. It will never leave me ๐Ÿ’—. Human beings are made of water and salt so basically we are the ocean ourselves. The smell of the salt air, the taste of the salty sea, hearing the waves crashing on the shore, seeing the beautiful ocean and feeling the wind on my skin all creates a sense of peace and calm which can’t beat anything in this world. I’m happy I live in a world which is surrounded by beautiful oceans. The world is beautiful ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ

Birthday of my brother Edward, Noanne and Lisanne ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ

It was my brother’s birthday on the 14th of July so I sent him a picture of us three which he can hang on the wall. That picture was made on his wedding in The Netherlands which was also a beautiful day to remember forever. My little niece Noanne turned 4 years on the 16th of July so I sent her a cute balloon ๐ŸŽˆ . They loved my gifts very much. I also sent the same unicorn balloon to Lisanne which is a little girl from my choir from a man. She has neuroblastoma and also leucemia now so that hit me really hard. I also wrote them a letter. I find it important to be there for others even though if I’m struggling myself. They liked it all very much which made me happy.

Watching the movie The Lion King with my mother and my good friend ๐Ÿฆ๐ŸŽฅ

I went to the cinema ๐ŸŽฌ after two years not going with my motherย and my good friend. I’ve always loved to go to the cinema with my mother and friends. You may ask why didn’t I go for such a long time?! The reason is anxiety. Two years ago when I went for the last time to watch a movie I began to feel anxious and thought that time that I was close to have a panic attack. I got scared and ended up not going anymore which is really sad. Anxiety always takes away everything I love to do in life. It’s horrible and I’m so done with it. Sometimes I have to take little steps to overcome a fear because I just can’t do it all at once like going to the dentist. I’m happy I went to watch The Lion King which is my favourite Disney movie ever yeahhh! ๐Ÿ˜ I even have the words “Hakuna matata” on the wall in my room in The Netherlands. I also had a cover for my mobile phone of it which unfortunately all got stolen.

I loved the movie so much. The animation version is amazing but this version too. It all looks so real and is so beautiful made! Simba is so cute. I cried a lot during the movie ๐Ÿ˜ญ We also enjoyed delicious popcorn. I wish to go to Africa once and see this beautiful wild life with my own eyes. The Lion King teaches me so many lessons like that everyone is afraid of something, that you can learn from your past and that it’s important to face your fears. Even though I worry so much because of anxiety I agree that Hakuna Matata is such an important life philosophy to live by. I hope I will get there one day because life is way too short to worry all day and especially of things which aren’t going to happen. It also teaches us that our lost loved ones will always be a part of us.

I’m happy I went to the movies as it’s a big recovery win ๐Ÿ’ช because I felt anxious once two years ago during a movie doesn’t mean that it will happen again. We can all learn so much from Disney movies. I will never be too old to watch them. I can’t wait to go one day to Disneyland ๐Ÿ’—. Magic is everywhere around us, we just have to find it in ourselves too โœจ

Things I did with my lovely friends ๐Ÿ’•:

Drinking a delicious milkshake with my friend ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿง

We enjoyed such a delicious milkshake! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿง I drank a chocolate milkshake andย my friendย had a strawberry one. I also once tried a coconut milkshake. I love them all but my fav is chocolate. Everything with chocolate is my favourite evah. I love to eat ice cream ๐Ÿฆ, drink milkshakes and any form of dessert. It’s much better to eat and drink this during the Summer. So refreshing & so delicious mmm! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Eating at the greek restaurant and enjoying a drink on a terrace ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ’•

After a year we ate again in Pita. gr, griegos artesanos in Valladolid. It’s one of my favourites restaurants in Valladolid. I love Greek food so much ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท I wish to go one day! The food is cheap and soooo delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹. Also the service is very good and fast. They always explain what everything is. We ate delicious mezzes with pita bread. My favourite sauce is the yoghurt and the one with feta. We also loved the delicious Greek lemonade. We also ate musakas with salad and more pita bread. As dessert we tried something different this time which was baklavas with nuts and yoghurt. It was so damn delicious. We loved it all so much! We will be back soon again yeah yeah yeah!

After eating a delicious Greek dinner on that Friday night I went to a terrace with my friends. We also got some delicious sweets. I love chuches ๐Ÿฌ. It was pretty cold afterwards. The nights here in Valladolid can be cold and yes even during the Summer ๐Ÿ˜‚โ„๏ธ It was 15 degrees that night brrr.

Eating tapas and delicious ice cream rolls with my friends ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿ’•

It was nice to see my lovely friend Iris again after a year together with Maria. We tried for the first time ice cream rolls omggg it’s so delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹ I have always seen this popular ice cream on Instagram and was very curious to try it. Sometimes a hype can be overrated but this was definitely as good as it looks! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ŒMine was with strawberries and as topping white chocolate. My friends had one with strawberries, oreos and white chocolate. I can’t wait to try another one again! Afterwards, we ate some delicious tapas. I love to eat croquettes and a mosto which is grape juice in the popular bar El Corcho. We also loved the solomillo al roquefort in another famous bar called La Tasquita. Spanish food is just da best! ๐Ÿ’— Viva Espaรฑa ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ, oleeee!

Hot Summer night with my friend and mother ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ”ฅ

I enjoyed some delicious Spanish food with my friend Maria. We ate a delicious pincho moruno with potatoes and tortilla at my favourite restaurant called Elany. When we drink a mosto we always get a free tapa which was chorizo this time. I love the owners which are from Romania so much. My family knows them so much and it’s so great to have your fav restaurant 5 min from your home. One time we also got a free flan ๐Ÿฎ. I also love to always give them a tip.

Afterwards, my mamita and I enjoyed a manzanilla tea ๐Ÿต and a mosto at La Plaza Mayor. It was 38 degrees the whole day so it was too hot to be inside. It was nice to be at a terrace during the night as the temperature was cooling down. Global warming is not something fake. It’s so real and I’m experiencing it right now in Spain. It’s never been so hot and so crazy weather during the Summer. We can all do something to save this planet ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ™ One day it will be too late….

Other amazing things of July โค๏ธ:

Finished reading the book Everything, Everything ๐Ÿ“š

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH ๐Ÿ˜. I will post a good review about it soon together with some other books I’ve read. I already talked about this book on my last blog post. I’ve never read a book so fast. I finished it in two weeks whoehoeeee.

Receiving awesome pen pal letters ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ

I loved the snail mail I got from Vikki, Rosie, Danielle, and my lovely blogging friend Chloe. Thank you all so much. I really love to receive amazing letters especially from such lovely people as you all are. I also loved the post so much from Sophia. I loved the quotes and especially the unicorn writing paper ๐Ÿฆ„ as it’s difficult to find here. I loved the postcard from my best friend from Crete so much too โค๏ธ.

Last but not least, I also loved the post from Barbara so much. She also sent me some lovely presents for my birthday which was the first of June. I loved the Disney paper and bag so much. I especially loved the mermaid vibes passport holder. I always wanted that. The edible unicorn wafers are amazing too and the unicorn holder. Thank you all so much for everything! I’m so grateful to know you all. I love you all so much ๐Ÿ’–

Watched the movie Campeones ๐ŸŽฌ

I watched this movie on the bus trip to Granada. I already wanted to watch this movie for so long. It’s a beautiful Spanish movie. I cried so much ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ. It’s about a trainer of basketball who get a punishment of driving too hard because of drinking alcohol. He then has to train a team which all have sindrome of down. I think this Spanish movie is so important. It’s all about love, friendships and inclusion. We all deserve to feel equal and be treated as persons. We all deserve the same opportunities in life no matter what ๐Ÿ™. This movie also won the prize of best Spanish movie 2019. There was also a beautiful sentence said in the movie which was: “You treated us as humans.” “Because you are humans”. I wish there would be more movies like this one because they are so necessary. We are all equal, always remember that.

Thank you all for reading this blog post. What did you do in July? What are your favourites from my list? Do you have any Summer trips planned? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love ๐Ÿ’•,

xoxo Christina

June favourites ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŽ‰

Hola lovelies ๐Ÿ’•,

For I begin, I would like to thank you all so much for all your support on my last blog post. You guys mean the most to me! ๐Ÿ’— I’m so thankful to always have this amazing community to be there for me. I love you all so much ๐Ÿ’•

I was dying the day I wrote this because it was so hot. There was a heatwave in Spain. It was 40 degrees in Valladolid. I was staying inside because I didn’t felt good because of it and because of my period. I can’t wait to go swimming this week when I don’t have my period anymore and feel better. The temperature is going down to 30 degrees which is perfect. I’m going to tell you in this blog post all about my June favourites such as celebrating my birthday with my family and friends, Summer time, the delicious food I’ve eaten and other amazing things.

Things I did with my family ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ :

My birthday celebration ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ

It was my birthday on the first of June. I turned 26 years young haha. You can read my summary of my 25th year here. I had to cry on my birthday because of having my period and I just felt so emotional. I was feeling like I don’t have my life together and I still feel that way. However, I have to think that we all have our own time in life to do things and make things happen. I also enjoyed my birthday with my mother, the brother and mother of Verรณnica which came to visit us. We ate a delicious chocolate cake and I blew the candles. I hope my wish will come true. I got amazing presents such as much stationery, a beautiful shirt, make up, flower headbands, jewelry and more. I also got a lot of beautiful handwritten cards.

I will show that with you all this month in a haul since I had to wait until I got everything to take pictures. My mother also bought me a lovely purple balloon and decorated our home. In the evening we went to eat dinner all three in my favourite restaurant called Elany. The bad thing was that we went late so there wasn’t much food left. We could enjoy some cheese, salad and chorizo. I was drinking a delicious grape fruit drink. I went home early because I felt bad because of my period. My mother went for a drink with the family of Verรณnica.

Celebrating my birthday with family

Eating delicious food with mamita ๐Ÿฒ

I ate so much delicious food this month. I love to eat outside especially when I’m in Spain as the food is so good and also so healthy. The Mediterranean diet is just the best. I ate twice in the big shopping mall El Corte Inglรฉs. We love to eat a sandwich ham & cheese with potatoes. You get free mayo, ketchup and anything you want. In Holland every sauce cost money. I also ate in a new restaurant called Rodilla which I discovered with mamita. We ate a delicious sandwich together with croquettes which were just โ‚ฌ1, so cheap!!! We also ate one day eggs with potatoes together with jรกmon serrano in my fav restaurant Elany near to my house, another day I ate a delicious tortilla de patata and paella. It’s my favourite Spanish food together with paella.

Delicious Spanish food

Milkshake time ๐Ÿฅค๐Ÿจ๐Ÿง

I LOVE ICE CREAMS, MILKSHAKES AND SMOOTHIES SO MUCH!!! I love to drink this delicious chocolate milkshake with whipped cream so much. Also the waiter is such a lovely man and we always have a good talk with him. He knows us very well. My mother was drinking a tea with ice cubes. We also got free olives which I love very much.

Drinking chocolate milkshake with my mother

Enjoying sunny days โ˜€๏ธ

I enjoyed some sunny days with my mother on the fake beach here. Here in Valladolid there’s not a real beach just an artificial one with sand. We have a river but it’s dirty to swim there. I was reading the Dutch psychology magazine while my mother was reading another magazine on the bench. It’s nice to enjoy the sunshine while there wasn’t a heatwave. We also enjoyed a nice walk along the river.

Enjoying sunny days

Things I did with my lovely friends ๐Ÿ’•:

Celebrating my birthday with my friends ๐ŸŽŠ๐Ÿ’—

I had such an awesome night celebrating my birthday with my friends at the restaurant Eh Voila ๐Ÿ’•. I made a reservation for the Greek restaurant but when we arrived they said it was closed. It was full of water haha that never happened before. There are so many restaurants in Valladolid so it’s easy to choose another good one. I love the creperie Eh Voila. I had a delicious Italian crepe with champignons, cheese, ham, mozzarella, and tomato. It was like a pizza so delicious. My friends ate also crepes, salad and spaghetti. As dessert I had a delicious ice cream of yoghurt and vanilla. I went here many times and now the decoration and everything is new ๐Ÿ˜โœจ It’s so beautiful.

After eating a delicious dinner we went to drink something on a terrace. We also went dancing at Juanita yeahhh fiesta time! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽ‰ It was such a long time ago that we did that as friends group. The only time I felt anxious was when I went to the toilet at Juanita because I felt like I couldn’t go out. I’m always so anxious about being closed up somewhere. I’m so happy with all my lovely friends. I wouldn’t know where I would be without all of them. Thank you for being there for me ALWAYS! I’m also thankful for all the lovely presents I got. They are da best. It’s so nice to have the best friends of the two countries ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Having friends in so many countries is the best thing ever. Thank you for making me so happy. I’m so blessed to know you all. I love you all so much ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ

Celebrating my birthday with my lovely friends

Friend visiting Valladolid

I was so happy that my good friend from Granada came to visit me all the way from Madrid for my birthday celebration with my friends. It’s almost already 4 years since we were all in New York City during the Many Languages, One World forum. We all spoke at the United Nations and it was just a once in a life time experience. I met a lot of awesome people during that week. I love MLOW reunions and hope to meet many of this group soon too! I miss you all ๐Ÿ’—

I’m happy to have showed my friend Valladolid together with my mother. We visited the churches San Pablo, La Antigua, the Cathedral, saw the university of Valladolid and La Plaza Mayor. We saw it by night and by daylight ๐Ÿ˜‚ It was 25 degrees so perfect weather for sightseeing ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐ŸŒž We also ate a delicious meal in Bar Pablo which is just 100m from our house. It’s so cheap and the menu is delicious. I ate paella, potatoes with meat, and a delicious flan ๐Ÿฎ with whipping cream. Valladolid is such a beautiful city and I’m so happy to call it my home as well as Haarlem of course ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Two of my fav cities ever. It was a beautiful weekend. I can’t wait to go to the south of Spain again soon! See ya soon mi amigo! Granada here I come oleeee! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒด

We celebrated the birthday of our Spanish friend Sandra in the village of a friend of her. She has a house in a village near to Valladolid. It’s 30 minutes by car. We had a delicious bbq outside in that house with 9 friends of her. We had a nice time and enjoyed it a lot. We talked a lot about sex lol and other subjects ๐Ÿ˜‚ I love to talk about anything. When I feel comfortable with people I can talk about anything. I was happy it was during the evening since it was 40 degrees during the day. At night it was just 20 degrees oufff much better. She loved our present which were two fancy champagne glasses. Sometimes I don’t like to meet with a group of people because it makes me anxious but it was fine. We also ate a delicious chocolate pie ๐Ÿฅง and we played Jenga. They said I’m very good at it and it’s because I played it during my childhood a lot. I’m used to build big towers without letting them falling down hahah. I also loved how you could see the stars shine so brightly because there are no city lights. I’m in love with the universe ๐ŸŒŸโœจ

Other nice things of June:

Summer time ๐Ÿ˜Ž

It’s officially Summer time! ๐ŸŒž I’m so happy my favourite season is back. I survived the heatwave ๐Ÿ”ฅ at the end of the month which was way too hot for me. I love 30 degrees but 40 degrees is really way too hot for me. Even my mother suffered through the heatwave. I hope I can enjoy Summer time much and have fun! It’s the time that I’m mostly the most happy in life. I love to go to the beach, go swimming and travel a lot.

Officially Summer time

San Juan ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I didn’t went to San Juan this year but my mother went and got me some delicious churros ๐Ÿ˜‹. San Juan is an evening at the end of June were we welcome the beginning of the Summer. It’s typical to do it on the beach but here we have a fake beach like I said. There is a big bonfire and there are things to eat and drink. There’s also a lot of music to dance on ๐ŸŽถ. It’s a tradition to write down all the bad things that happened that year and burn it in the fire. You also write some wishes down for the next year which you keep at home. It’s a magical night.

The bonfire of San Juan and churros

Stationery and pen pal letters ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ๐Ÿ’—

Last but not least, I bought some nice stationery stuff. I bought some nice stickers with hearts, flowers and stars and also some other cute ones. I also received some nice pen pal letters from Chloe (as well as birthday presents such as a beautiful painting of palmtrees she made ๐ŸŒด, cards, notebook, pencil and body masks), a beautiful letter from a new pen pal Vikki, from Jess and from the lovely Sophia (I loved all the goodies from you so much such as the beautiful cards, stickers and geen earrings). I love you all so much. Pen palling is awesome and I’m so happy I have now more and more pen pals to write too! ๐Ÿ˜ Writing letters and receiving letters makes me so happy.

Stationery and beautiful pen pal letters

Thank you all for reading this blog post. What were you favourites of June? What did you like from my list? Are you already enjoying Summer time? Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love ๐Ÿ’•,

xoxo Christina

May favourites ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒž

Hola lovelies ๐Ÿ’•,

May was a great month where I spend much time with my family and also with my friends. In this post I’m going to tell you about my favourites in May such as stationery shopping, my early birthday celebration with my friends, celebrating Mother’s Day in The Netherlands, The Netherlands winning Eurovision๐ŸŽ™๏ธand much more. I hope you will all like it.

Things I did with my family ๐Ÿ‘ช:

The Netherlands winning Eurovision Song Contest 2019 ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ ๐ŸŽถ

For me this was the most important event which happened in May. I wrote a whole blog post about it which you can read here. Duncan Laurence represented The Netherlands with the beautiful song Arcade, a story about hope and loss. I’m so happy to have experienced this feeling of seeing my country winning Eurovision with my mother. It’s just such a beautiful feeling full of emotion, happiness and excitement. I will never ever forget this night. The 18th of May will be forever in my mind. He wrote history. After 44 years The Netherlands finally won Eurovision. Now, it’s time for Spain to win too! I can’t wait to see Eurovision live next year.

Thank you Duncan for making me so proud of you, your music and just everything! I love you so much ๐Ÿ’• I already also bought tickets for his concert in Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam in March 2020. He is going to do a tour this year in The Netherlands and in Europe. He will sing in the greatest venue which is The Ziggo Dome next year. I’m so excited to go to his concert with my friend! ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽถ

Celebrating my early birthday with my family ๐Ÿ‘ช

I had a great afternoon celebrating my early birthday with my family in May! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ I celebrated it earlier because of going to Spain. We ate delicious apple pie ๐Ÿฐ from the Hema and went to the park. My daddy put whipping cream in the mouth of my niece hahaha it was so funny ๐Ÿ˜‚ I got some nice presents and cards which I didn’t open until my birthday. I’m going to share that with you all in my birthday haul. I love to save the gifts and cards because they mean a lot to me. Especially a handwritten letter means the world because a person takes the time to write you something personal. Thank you all so much! I love my family so much ๐Ÿ’–

Celebrating Mother’s Day ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒท

We celebrated Mother’s Day in The Netherlands ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ with my family (my parents, my brother, his wife and her brother and mother). It was so nice to be all together. I gave my mother a beautiful flower bouquet with different flowers and colours. I love Greetz.nl so much! The service and quality is amazing ๐Ÿ˜. I also gave her a handmade card.

My brother Rafael gave her beautiful yellow roses, Milka chocolate and a card. My other brother Edward gave her also beautiful pink, violet flowers and a card. It was a beautiful surprise to get it when we were eating. The food was so delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹ We ate meat, salad, potatoes, bread, fruits, ice cream and much more. What I love the most was the delicious Spanish tortilla de patata which the mother of Verรณnica made.

Family time in the Cruquius ๐Ÿ’—

Me, my mother, the brother and mother of Verรณnica went an afternoon to the Cruquius. That’s near to my house. I went with the bike and felt a bit dizzy afterwards because there was some wind. I’m not used to go biking anymore. We enjoyed a delicious lunch. I love bread with kroket which is typical Dutch food! I also loved the heart candies. It was great weather. I went with my bike ๐Ÿšฒ and we also walked. Afterwards, we took the ferry boat to go the Molenplas which is the park near to my house. We also saw the lovely ๐Ÿฎ cows. We had such a nice time together!

Sunny days in the garden ๐ŸŒž

I love to be in my garden in The Netherlands. It’s nice to enjoy the sunshine there with my mother. In Spain we don’t have a home with a garden just an apartment. I just love to have a garden so much ๐Ÿ’• It’s relaxing to enjoy the sunshine and just be present that moment. I love to read there too. I was reading in that moment the poetry book “Moon theory” from Robert M. Drake which is beautiful.

Eating delicious ice cream ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿจ

I ate delicious ice cream with mamita during a day we went to the shopping centre near to my house. I love ice cream with sprinkles. I always ate this ice cream when I was younger and I still do it. It brings me so much good vibes and it is so yummy mmmm! ๐Ÿ˜

Stationery shopping ๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿ›๏ธ

I went to my favourite shop called Action in The Netherlands and bought a lot of nice stationery. I’m so addicted to buy stationery. I love everything and I can’t wait to use it to write beautiful letters to my pen pals. I bought some amazing stickers, sticky notes, pens, washi tape and cards to make. I also loved the awesome quotes and thoughts about astrology and the universe which I bought ๐ŸŒŒโœจ

Trip to Spain ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

Right now, I’m in Spain since last Tuesday with my mother. It was an early flight which I always hate but we survived it haha. I don’t like flying at 7 o’clock since I didn’t sleep anything that night and felt dead lol. However, I’m always happy to be in Spain. I can’t wait for Summer time to travel with my friends, go surfing ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ, go to the beach ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒž and just have fun. It was really hot last weekend like 34 degrees. Right now, it’s around 20 degrees but there’s some wind so it feels cold. The weather is really crazy. The nights are also cold like 7 degrees. In The Netherlands it’s stormy now. I’m sure Summer time will come soon.

Things I did with my friends ๐Ÿ’•:

Celebrating my early birthday at Hart Beach ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒž

I had such a great time with my friends three weeks ago at my favourite restaurant Hart Beach. I was anxious to go because I didn’t sleep enough because of feeling so excited and so much emotions because the night before was the final of Eurovision. I love this surf ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ restaurant so much. I also went surfing with Hart Beach in the past. I can’t wait to go surfing again. I’m thankful for my lovely friends and the lovely presents they gave me. I love the food and service so much here. Alohaaaa pura vida vibes! ๐Ÿ’—โœŒ๏ธI can’t wait to go back.

I had a children’s menu and it was much food and so good! I loved the chicken nuggets, salad and potatoes. My friends ate another children’s menu with hamburger, some vega food, sweet potatoes and salad. They have such good food to choose from. I also enjoyed a delicious sunset smoothie with papaya, mango, coco ๐Ÿฅฅ, and apple. As dessert we enjoyed a delicious pie and dame blanche which is vanilla ice cream with warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It’s my favourite dessert ever ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿจ. I always choose that whenever I go to a restaurant.

It was really cold so unfortunately we couldn’t sit outside. Almost every time I go to the beach in Holland it isn’t that great weather ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ–๏ธ Hopefully, next time better. I really enjoyed spending time with them all and seeing my friends again. Having family and friends is so important in life because they make you happy. I’m so grateful to have all these good people in life who always cheer me up and with who I can have fun with. I love you all SO much! ๐Ÿ˜˜

My besties birthday party ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚

My besties birthday was on the 21th of May but she celebrated it Friday the 24th of May. I was also anxious to go to this party because sometimes I feel a pressure to drink when I don’t want. I don’t take antidepressants anymore for my anxiety since it didn’t help anymore. I take sometimes a benzo. However, I just don’t want to drink much alcohol anymore. I also feel sometimes anxious in groups of people I don’t know.

I had a great time and was happy that I went. I had some good talks with a nice girl from her class. It felt great to speak up about my bullying experience since I’m not alone in this. I also had a great time talking to her family which I know very well. I only drank a bit of wine ๐Ÿท which is okay and there was delicious food such as nachos with guacamole, bread with aioli and a delicious pie called mon-sou made by her girlfriend ๐ŸŽ‚ It was a pie with cherries ๐Ÿ’, biscuits and whipping cream. I loved it!

Concert of Alfred Garcia ๐ŸŽถ ๐ŸŽธ

There is no better way to celebrate your birthday with a good concert. Last Friday before my birthday I went to the concert of Alfred Garcia with my good Spanish friend ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’• It was awesome! He is such an amazing artist. He is humble, honest and sensitive. He is different than other artists and that’s what I love the most about him. Some may call him strange but I call that being authentic. Being authentic in a world where society constantly tries to change you is such a beautiful thing to be. He is an amazing singer-songwriter.

I love all his songs of the album 1016 and of course I have his album at home. Buying the music is really important for an artist. My favourite songs of him are definitely “Por si te hace falta” where I cried and felt so happy to have my friend by my side, “Londres”, “Wonder”, “Que nos sigan las luces”, “Et vull veure” and “De la tierra hasta marte”. All his songs are beautiful though.

Thank you Alfred for being such an amazing artist ๐Ÿ’—. We met Joe who was the jury in Operaciรณn Triunfo, the talentshow where Alfred was part of. Your concert was amazing. He was also sick that day but your voice was beautiful as always. I’m thankful for your music who always make me feel so many emotions. Thank you for being always so supportive, speaking up about mental illnesses, and making this world a better place to live in ๐ŸŒ. I’m thankful to live in a world where there exists such amazing artists like you. Thank you for everything. I’m sad we couldn’t meet you but hopefully we will meet you soon. Stay the way you are ๐ŸŒŸ I love you loads ๐Ÿ’•.

Another awesome thing of May:

Taking a bath with a Lush bath bomb ๐Ÿ›€

I bought a nice Lush bath bomb online and used it in The Netherlands since we don’t have a bath in Spain. It was the bath bomb called Groovy Kind Of Love full of beautiful colours ๐ŸŒˆ. It’s amazing for a hippie girl like me. I loved the colours in the beginning. However, the colour which lasted was pretty ugly haha some yellow bath ๐Ÿ˜‚. The bath bomb consisted of rose, bergamot and ylang ylang oils. It was really relaxing. I love to take a bath. That’s what self care is for me.

Thank you all for reading this blog post. What were your favourites from my list? What did you enjoy in May? Could you already enjoy Spring time in your country? ๐ŸŒž Let me know lovelies. I will speak to you all in my next blog post.

Much love ๐Ÿ’•,

xoxo Christina

Reflection on 2018 & happy new year to you all! ๐ŸŽ‰โœจ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ซ

Hey lovelies ๐Ÿ’•,

Happy new year to you all! โœจ๐ŸŽ‰ In this post I will talk about my 2018 and will show you how I celebrated New Year’s Eve. I’m glad I don’t have a cold amymore but just tonight I got my period so yeah that also sucks ๐Ÿ˜ญ I’m glad I take medication for the cramps because otherwise I wouldn’t survive it. Besides, I’m also being anxious about my appointment of getting one of my wisdom teeth pulled out this week. I keep postponing the appointment. I know I have to do it but I’m so scared. H e l p. I also don’t want to do it in Holland. Here in Spain it’s much cheaper and the dentist understands my anxiety but I’m still so afraid and I just feel like I can’t cope. If anyone have some more tips to survive it I will be forever grateful ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’• I can always take medication for anxiety if that’s enough to help me cope with it.

IMG_20181228_221316.jpg

We are already in 2019. A year has flown by. As usually I want to reflect on my year with this post and also write some important things for you all. Every year has its ups and downs. Every year consists of good things and bad things which happen to us. The most important thing is how we react to all these things. I know how hard it’s to stay positive in this sometimes dark world. I just keep believing that there are so many good things in the world and that there are indeed so many good people. You just have to find your tribe. I’m so glad I did.

I’m so happy with my blogging community, mental health community, Yoga Girl community and the goddess revolution community. I’m thankful that I joined these communities this year. They made me feel less alone and so much happier. If I’m in Holland I will maybe go to a meet up with some yoga girls. I also really wish that we will continue to all be friends and hopefully one day we will all meet โœจ I know the universe brought us all together for a reason which is to be connected with awesome people, share our struggles and feel supported.

I learned a lot this year. I learn every day from this world. This year I realized that there are truly lovely people who care about you and want you to be happy. I learned that it’s better to have a few good friends than a million of fake friends. The ones who love you will always be there for you no matter what. I learned that true love exists when I saw my brother getting married in August in Spain. I learned that this life is an adventure. Sometimes we win and sometimes we loose. We learn from every experience. I also learned that it’s okay if I’m not where I want to be in life. I still have a long way to go. I will find a career I love and will keep growing. It all takes time, pacience and trust in myself. I have to love myself, believe in myself and know that I can make my dreams come true such as working and living in Spain โœจ

I also went to my first feminist strike in Valladolid, in Spain on International Women’s Day on the 8th of March with my mother. This was such an empowerful event. I never went to a demonstration before. I really wish 2019 will be the year that less women will be suffering from violence. I wish that women and men have the same human rights. Together we are starting a revolution. This is just the beginning. 2019 will be the year where women can be themselves, love themselves and love each other ๐Ÿ’•

This year I also learned that music is the best thing in life ๐ŸŽถ I would be lost without music. I went to so many amazing concerts such as the Operaciรณn Triunfo 2017 concert in Madrid with my friend Maria ๐Ÿ’• Operaciรณn Triunfo makes me so happy and full of life. I also enjoyed the concert of Pablo Alboran, Chenoa, Hombres G and Celtas Cortos with my mother in Valladolid. I also enjoyed so much the concert of Sofia Ellar with my friend Maria. I can’t wait to see her again. It was so lovely to meet Sofia and get a picture with her. She’s the best and I can’t wait to see her singing again ๐Ÿ˜

This year I began to read again a lot which I loved to do so much when I was younger. I will continue reading this new year. I also kept writing and being creative. I hope to create more amazing content on this blog. Writing is amazing. I travelled to Madrid, Granada, Santander and Somo. I discovered Somo which is a beautiful surfing village in the north of Spain. In 2019 I really want to go to a surf camp again ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒž. I didn’t go surfing for more than two years. I miss it so much. It’s also so good for my mental health. The sea is my home and cleans my soul. The beach is my favourite place on this earth. I can’t wait to travel to more amazing places and meet more amazing people.

Maybe for some of you this year was a hard year. Maybe some of you have lost someone close to you. Maybe you just didn’t felt okay and were struggling. I’m here for you. It’s okay to grief. It’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to feel sad. Feelings change and emotions change but it all takes time. Try to not be hard on yourself next year. Remember, I’ll will always be there for you ๐Ÿ’• I hope you will invest in self love and self care this new year because that’s the most important thing that matters. I also encourage you all to surround yourself with people who love you and who bring you only good vibes because you deserve that โœจ.

I celebrated my New Year’s Eve in Valladolid, in Spain. I decided to not go out with my friends. I also didn’t go out last year. I used to party every year but I don’t feel in the mood anymore. I have to do what feels good to me. I went to the hairdressers in the afternoon to cut the dead ends, my bangs and they made curls in my hair. I love to look good for myself. I dressed up at home and did my make up. My mother and I went to the house of the mother of the wife of my brother. We celebrated all together New Year’s Eve: Rafael, my mother, Vรฉronica, Vรฉronica’s mother and her brother. We enjoyed eating delicious Spanish food.

We ate cheese, jamon serrano, chorizo, bread and chicken. I didn’t eat the fish because I don’t like fish so much haha ๐Ÿ˜‚ At 12 o’clock we watched the television and ate the 12 grapes. We also had champagne ๐Ÿฅ‚. It’s a tradition in Spain to eat the 12 grapes. They say it brings luck. We watched television where we were hearing beautiful music and we played Spanish card games. I really loved it so much. I love playing games with my family. At 3.30 am my mother and I went home and we stayed in watching some television. We went to bed at 6 am pretty late but doesn’t matter because it’s a special night. I’m glad I didn’t go out because as soon as we were home I got my period haha. On New Year’s Day we just stayed in and chilled. I saw the movie Grease. I just love that movie & the music so much ๐Ÿ˜ I also saw the movie Paper Towns which I love so much from John Green. I already saw this movie with my best friend one day and loved it.

l wish you all an amazing new year full of love, happiness and luck ๐Ÿ€โœจโœŒ๏ธ Stay strong & stay safe. We are all in this together ๐Ÿ’ช I love you all so so so much โค๏ธ. Thank you all for reading. How was your New Year’s Eve? Did you stay at home or did you went to a party? Which are your goals or dreams to achieve in 2019? I would love to know. I will speak to you all soon in my next blog post.

Summer 2018 bucket list ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒด๐Ÿ„๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ‘™๐Ÿ’•

Hey lovely bloggers ๐Ÿ’–,

In this blog post I will share my Summer 2018 bucketlist ๐ŸŒž. I will share the 10 main things I want to do this Summer. I already made a list of 100 thing in my journal but I thought it would be way too much to share haha. I do that every year and then I don’t do everything on that list because it’s too much. The list isn’t in any order and is my personal list.

  • Attend the wedding of my brother Rafael and his girlfriend Verรณnica

I think this is going to be one of the main events this Summer. I already have my dress for the wedding which I showed in this blog post Fuchsia dress and below. I went again to the shop a few weeks ago to make some adjustments for the dress and will get my dress back in one week. I’m looking forward to this wedding since they told it to us last Summer. I love weddings so much. The wedding is on the 11th of August. My other brother Edward married a few years ago. Now, it’s time for my other older brother Rafael who is going to marry his Spanish girlfriend Verรณnica. He’s going to marry with 40 years old and Veronica is 38 years old. It reminds me that it’s never too late to marry someone. Weddings are so special. My Spanish family and Dutch family are coming aswell as my niece. It’s going to be again one of the best days of my life, an unforgettable day where we celebrate the love of Rafael and Verรณnica with the whole family. I’m also going to my first bachelor party ever of Rafael and Veronica and their friends and some family members. We are going to bar to have dinner and fiesta time ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ƒIt’s going to be fun!

  • Go to the outdoor swimming pool at least 20 times in Valladolid

I only go 6 or 7 times in the Summer months and it’s really short for the two Summer months. The outside swimming pools are open since the end of June till the beginning of September. Sometimes I find myself lazy to go but I know that it will do me so much good. Swimming is good for relaxing and good for my mental health aswell. I love swimming so much. It’s good for my back pain, my anxiety and just everything. I always feel hungry and sleepy after swimming. It makes me feel like I’m flying in the air hahah ๐Ÿ˜‚. It’s such a good natural medicine. I also already read somewhere that the colour blue from the ocean and from the swimming pool make you feel so happy and relaxed. I already went three times to the swimming pool this Summer, so I will keep going to reach my goal of 20 of more times. Here are some pictures from these days.

  • Travel to the beach as much as I can

I want to go to the beach this Summer as much I can. I live in Valladolid which is in the main centre of Spain. The nearest beach for me is in Santander which is three hours away by train. I hope I can go to Santander after the wedding as in August or September. I love the beach so much ๐ŸŒŠ. I always miss it and cry when I have to go home. The ocean is my home. It’s so good for your health, happiness and mindset. I’m going to Granada next week to visit a friend and we are going to the beach one or two day like we did a year ago. I can’t wait to swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Good vibes only! โœŒ There the sea water is warm and not like the cold water in the north of Spain which is the Atlantic Ocean.

  • Be creative and invest time doing my favourite hobbies

I love to blog and I’m happy to keep on writing amazing content. I want to expand content and always come up with new ideas. In August my blog will turn one year old and I want to celebrate it with you all. I also love to write poetry and want to share it with you all. I also love to read and want to read more self help books and magazines which also helps to beat my anxiety. I want to keep taking pictures with my polaroid and digital camera. I want to record more singing covers because I love singing. I sang in a choir for 11 years and enjoy it a lot. Maybe, I can start a Youtube channel so that I can share it on my blog with you all. I want to continue writing in my journal and cherish memories. Being creative is just the best. I hope I can be really creative this Summer and share it with you all โค๐Ÿ‘Œ

  • Go stargazing and see beautiful sunsets on the beach

I love the moon, the stars, the sun and just the whole universe so much. I love to go stargazing in the Summer and especially on the beach. It’s just so beautiful to see all those bright stars in the darkness. In the Summer you can also see many shooting stars. I love to make wishes on shooting stars. I also love to watch beautiful sunsets on the beach. It always looks like the sun is going down in the sea. The colours of the sunsets are also stunning and so beautiful. It give such a sense of peace. I always take some pictures from this moment to cherish these beautiful memories. The picture on the right is from La Rabita, Granada (Mediterranean Sea) where I went last Summer and will go again this Summer.

  • Face a fear

It’s great to have this as a challenge this Summer. By facing a fear I mean something I get anxious about and which makes me uncomfortable. For me facing a fear means a lot to conquer. I love to run away from things and postpone everything I fear rather than face it because of my anxiety. I know it’s bad because this fear will grow and grow. Then it will be more and more difficult to face that fear at the end. I have to go to the dentist because I have a caries in my wisdom teeth and I’ve some problems there. I know I’ve to do it even though the dentist makes me so anxious. I also have to look for a job and I don’t like job interviews (I’ve only had one in life and they never called me back) and also don’t like calling. If I face one of these fears this Summer I would be really proud of myself ๐Ÿ’ช. I know I’ve to push myself a bit but it will be worth it. I hope you can all wish me luck ๐Ÿ€

  • Travel a lot

I love to travel, meet new people and be in contact with people from other cultures. It really expands your mind. Travelling makes me so happy. I want to travel at least 2 or 3 times this Summer. I’m going to Granada (Andalucia, which is in the south of Spain and take 7 hours by bus from Valladolid – 600 km!) next Tuesday the 24th till the Saturday 28th with my mother. I’m going to visit my friend Antonio and his family. I met him on my way to New York City three years ago when I won the Many Languages, One World Essay Contest. It was in the Summer of 2015. Soon, I’m going to make a blog post about this one day. I’ve already been twice to Granada and loved it so much. We are also going to the beach of La Rรกbita. Going to Granada feels like a tradition because I go every Summer. My mother and I booked a hotel in the city centre which is perfect to enjoy eating tapas, shopping, visisiting the city and the beautiful Alhambra. You will see a blog post about this travel trip soon. I also want to go to a surf camp this Summer in the north of Spain and go a few days to enjoy the beach in Santander with my friend Maria in August or September. The picture below with “life is for…” is a picture I made during a holiday in Mallorca a few years ago. The picture below with my favourite beach towel was made last Summer in La Rabita, Granada.

  • Go to concerts/festivals

I love going to concerts so much, especially in the Summer because they’re almost every time outside. I also love to go to festivals and went one time in The Netherlands to Surfana festival with my best friend where there was beautiful live music, great food and awesome things to do such as surfing, doing yoga, wine tasting and other creative activities. Going to concerts and enjoying your favourite artist is just the best. Music is life and definitely increase my happiness ๐ŸŽถ. I already went to the concert of Sofia Ellar which took place last month. I also am going to enjoy the fiestas week in Valladolid in the beginning of September with my mother and friends. There are going to be many awesome concerts in the main square of the city centre. This is going to be the third time that I’m going to enjoy this beautiful week.

  • Go surfing after two years

The last time I went surfing was during Surfana festival two years ago in the Summer of 2016. I really miss surfing so much. Last Summer, I said that I was going to a surf camp and at the end I didn’t go. I also had to study during that Summer time which was the worst thing ever. I went twice to a surf camp here in Spain. It was so awesome. I want to go this Summer again to a surf camp, meet new people and enjoy surfing. Surfing makes you feel so free, happy and peaceful. I have my own wetsuit but I’ve to wear it and look if I still fit in it. I’m a beginner and still can’t surf waves but I’m learning it. Surfing is just da best ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ„โœŒThe ocean is where I’m the most happy. I enjoy every single moment and forget the whole world around me. I respect the ocean and sometimes I get scared because it feels infinite and is so deep. The ocean is everything I want to be. Beautiful, mysterious, wild and free. The picture below is from the Summer of 2015 where I went to Art Surf Camp in Galicia, in Spain.

  • Be happy and enjoy Summer to the fullest

Maybe, this can sound cliche but it’s really important for me to just enjoy Summer and be happy.ย Last Summer, I enjoyed Summer but was feeling many times worried and anxious because I didn’t pass my last exam of law from my studies in order to graduate. I had to do this exam again at the end of August. I remember times that I went to the swimming pool and when I came back home I was tired and had to study during the night. It was really exhausting for me. This Summer, I’m free and I just want to be happy and enjoy everything what Summer has to offer. Feeling bad in Summer makes me feel even worse because Summer is the time that life feels lighter and I also feel so much happier in Summer. I’m a Summer girl right ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŒž Go away winter. I wish it could be Summer forever but then maybe you don’t enjoy it as much as I do now. That feeling of longing for Summer I’ve all year long is so great when it’s finally Summer and you can enjoy it. The sunshine is makes me feel so happy.

I love the pictures I shared in this blog post. I searched these pictures on Google and Tumblr. I hope you like them too. Thank you all for reading this blog post. I hope you all like this blog post. What are your Summer plans? Do you also have a Summer bucketlist? Do you also love the beach as much as I do? Do you like my list and can you relate to it? I would love to know it in the comment section. I will speak to you all in my next blog post. I hope you all enjoy Summer. Happy Summer to you all! ๐ŸŒžโœŒ

Love you all so much ๐Ÿ’•,

xoxo Christina

Concerts, a funny moment meeting your favourite artist and bonfires of Saint John ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Hey lovely bloggers ๐Ÿ’•,

I already wanted to make a blog post about two amazing concerts I went to last month. This blog post is going to be about those two amazing concerts I went to. I don’t think anyone will relate to these two artists: Pablo Alboran and Sofia Ellar because they are Spanish. However, I love to share my music taste and soon I will also post a beach/Summer play list. I also am going to talk about the night of Saint John which is a typical feast in Spain. I hope you are going to enjoy this blog post.

I already bought the concert tickets of Pablo Alboran in Febraury because he’s a popular singer in Spain. I went to his concert on the second of June, just one day after my birthday. It was the best birthday present from myself haha and for my mother. I wanted to go with a friend but she couldn’t go so I went with my mother. Pablo Alboran is on a tour to promote his new album “Prometo” My mother is now in love with him too haha. Damn, I felt I was walking on the moon or Saturn as one of his songs says during his concert. This concert is going to be in my list of best concerts I’ve ever went to like omg asdghjkl I love you so much Pablo ๐Ÿ˜ I wanna marry you. He’s 29 years old and comes from Malaga. He’s very handsome, cute and his voice is just so beautiful that it makes me feel in love. I’m a fan for so many years and I love all his songs so much. I bought the concerts tickets in February just when they began to sell them. Finally, I saw him live which is just a dream that came true. This was my best birthday present.

I will show you some of his songs from Youtube. I hope you like his voice as much as I do. Music doesn’t have any barriers. Even if you don’t know the language, the sound and the voice can make you feel something. I love going to concerts in Valladolid, my home city. This place was just 15 minutes away from my house. I could walk to it. There were thousands of people but I had enough space to dance and sing. I really like that. The concert was also outside which I enjoy more than inside concerts. It wasn’t even cold at all. It was around 20 degrees yeahhh. I get that festival vibe โœŒ

Pablo Alboran โ€“ Saturno (From his new album Prometo, I love this song so much)

Pablo Alboran โ€“ Te he echado de menos (From older albums and one of my favourite songs โค)

His songs are so beautiful and really thouch my heart and soul. They are about life and love. The lyrics is just so beautiful which I can’t even describe with words. He’s honest, sensitive, caring and I appreciate him so much. Hopefully, one day I can get a picture with him and talk to him. That would be a dream. Thank you for an unforgettable night. I also bought a sticker and bracelet to have a memory of the concert. I danced, I sang and I felt so alive. I live for concerts because music makes me feel so alive which is the best feeling ever. I can’t wait to see you again!! I love you so SO much ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

I also went to the concert of Sofia Ellar on the 22th of June with my lovely friend Maria. She was born in London and has the Spanish nationality. She launched her music career in Spain. She’s almost my age. She’s just 24 years and launched her career a few years ago just on her own. She became famous through Instagram and Youtube. It was such an amazing concert omgggg asdfghjkl. You know that moment in a concert where you are just so happy living in the moment and forget the whole world?! I had that all the time. She sang songs from her new album named Nota en do such as Nota en do, Mundos…? and Ana and older songs such as Verano con lima, Amor de anticuario and Rock’n’roll de chiquillos. I will you share some of my favourite songs below.

Sofia Ellar – Amor de anticuario (My favourite song ever ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽถ)

Sofia Ellar – Mundos…? (From her new album Nota en do, I love this song so much)

Sofia Ellar – A Spanish little place (From her new album Nota en Do, she sings English this time which I also love)

First Rosco, a singer who also was playing in her band was playing a song from his album and then he sang the song La Llamada from that awesome movie which I still have to watch. I loved his voice. Then the concert of Sofia began. I love her and her band. She’s just so amazing. I love her voice, her songs and her music is just so beautiful. She write beautiful songs and can play so good guitar. She creates such a good ambiance. An artist have to make me feel something and she definitely does that. I loved the stories she told. She’s just so real, authentic, honest and a hippie girl like me ๐Ÿ’•โœŒ She had two big dreamcatchers on stage. One moment she even came to dance and sing with all of us downstairs.

This was the moment she came downstairs and danced and sang with us:

Soy esa niรฑa cansada de oficinas que se busca la vida cantando esta canciรณn ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’• . Regram from @cristinadcampo. This was the best moment of the concert of @sofiaellar last friday. I never been to a concert where the artist just come downstairs and dance and sing with us. It was so beautiful and omggg I get emotional every time I see this video and remember this moment. This song is called Amor de anticuario and I love this song so much. It's one of my favourites. She sings I'm that girl who is tired of offices and who lives her life singing this song ๐ŸŽถโค . It just reminds me that Sofia Ellar is so real, beautiful and so sweet ๐Ÿ’• She always says we are her family and yesss we are! It's so important when an artist is on the same line as us ๐Ÿ˜ She also took her shoes off one moment and sang barefoot. I find that so awesome! Such a hippie girl โœŒ๏ธ Love you so much xoxo โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

I was also so happy to meet her afterwards with my friend and I got a picture with her. She also liked my posts on Instagram or send hearts and she said I love you too through a private message on Instagram. Meeting and getting a picture with your favourite artist is awesome. It always happens when I’m going to concerts which take place in little places. I’m going to tell you now a funny story that happened that night. It was so great to meet Sofia. We had to wait for like a half hour after the concert ended. The security man said in an angry tone that we could enter the room of her but only two at a time. So, me and my friend entered and I said Sofiaaaa and we gave her a hug. She was so sweet. I had a black bag and when I wanted to get in the position to make this picture, my bag was in the way and let all the beer bottles and alcohol falling down on the ground and in Sofia’s bag. I hoped nothing was wet. I said that I’m so sorry and she said that it didn’t matter and she smiled.

Hahah, this only happens when I’m in the room lol ๐Ÿ˜‚. The man who was taking a picture said look what the one in the green did. We took a picture and Sofia said that they had to go soon so that’s why we had to do it quick. I would have loved to talk longer. It felt like we were her friends. I love that she’s so close to her fans. I can’t wait to go again to a concert of her. I will never ever forget this amazing concert. Thank you for everything ๐Ÿ˜„ You are da best! I wish her good luck with the rest of the concerts.

I shared this story on Instagram and then she liked my post and wrote: ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚you two were so sweet !! Nothing went wrong. Just smile!! I felt so happy when she wrote that and I wrote her back and said: Aaaah thank you so much Sofia ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜It was funny hahah. I love you โค You can see it here below:

During the concert I also bought some beautiful earrings of feather which I already wanted to buy since a long time. I love them so much. They were a bit expensive โ‚ฌ8 but so worth it. She always wear these earrings of feather in her hair.๏ธ I loved the merchandising and wanted to buy everything hahah. I’m a hippie girl forevah. Hippie vibes always โœŒ

So these were my stories about the two concerts I went to in June. Now, I’m going to tell you shortly about the night of San Juan which took place on the 23th of June. That night we celebrated San Juan also called the bonfires of Saint John. Spain is celebrating this night in all cities and especially on the beaches. Here in Valladolid we celebrated it by the river Pisuerga where there’s like a beach with sand. It’s not a real beach hahah a fake one but it’s great. It’s really a magical night & it’s also the shortest night. It’s typical to have bonfires. There were bonfires and a big one, and you could throw some wishes that you want to come true. You could also write a note with all negative things which you want to burn. I did this and it felt so goooood. I also enjoyed the music. It was a great night with my friend. I went with Maria Martin, and other people which I didn’t know.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. Do you also love to go to concerts as much as I do? Did you like these songs which I posted? Did you also had a funny moment like me when you met your favourite artist? Have you heard of Saint John before and do you celebrate it? I would love to know.

Much love ๐Ÿ’•,

xoxo Christina

My daddy came for two weeks to Spain and gave me some presents for my birthday. I got a beautiful black dress from Verรณnica and a beautiful hippie scarf with feather from Verรณnica and my brother Rafael. I really liked it so much. It’s from my favourite shop here in Valladolid called Azabache. I love hippie and boho clothes so much. I also got Yogi Tea from my father. I love all the flavours so much. I got rooibos and women’s tea. I really loved these presents so much. I also got a beautiful Volkswagen hippie car from my father this week. This was not for my birthday but I still wanted to include this here. I have another red one in my home in The Netherlands. I also have a poster of these carsย  and a quilt here in my room. I wish to one day to be able to drive, buy such a car and decorate it. I’m forever a hippie girl and aloha surf vibesย ๐Ÿ„๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒด

Haha, it’s definitely my birthday month. It’s now really over. Last Friday, on the 15th of June I celebrated my birthday with my Spanish friends. We ate with 7 people in a greek restaurant named Pita. gr, griegos artesanos in Valladolid. This is one of my favourite restaurants here in Valladolid. I love greek food so much. Did anyone of you tried it before? I really love it. The food in this restaurant is cheap and soooo delicious! I ate mezzes with typical greek pita bread. I also drank a delicious greek lemonade. I also ate musakas with potatoes and salad. Musakas is greek meat. It was so good! There’s no better way to celebrate my birthday with all of my friends in a greek restaurant ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Afterwards, we went to the karaoke bar called Tuareg. It’s just 15/20 minutes away from my house. I really love to sing karaoke. We went there with the birthday celebration of Maria too. I enjoyed this night with all of my friends. We sang Rosas from La Oreja De Van Gogh, Lo malo from Aitana and Ana and La cintura from Alvaro Soler. I love these Spanish songs so much. It was really fun to sing and enjoy this night with all of my friends. They also played really good Reggaeton and Spanish music in this bar. I really had such a great night! ๐Ÿ˜„

I got so many amazing presents from my friends which I’m going to show you now. From Guillermo I got instax mini film for my polaroid camera. I love to use my polaroid and take pictures to capture amazing moments in my life. I got balloons from the number 2 and 5 from Maria Martin and Guillermo. I got a bag for the beach with pineapples and flamingos and aย wallet from Maria Esteban. I really loved it so much. It’s really cute and I can’t wait to use it.

I also got two beautiful little cups and plates from my favourite brand Mr. Wonderfull from Juan, Sandra, Maria Martin and Natalia. They have so many amazing stuff. It’s for coffee but I’m going to use it for tea because I don’t drink coffee. I also got from them a cute cat face mask and a petite bunny gloss bar from one of my favourites make up brands which is Sephora. I really loved all of these presents so much. Thank you all so much for these beautiful presents and for this amazing night. I really love my friends so much โค It’s really great to have such amazing friends and who are always there for you.

It’s finally Summer time! I can’t wait to share with you all many Summer related blog posts such as a Summer bucketlist, a beach play list and many more awesome things. My blog is going to have a Summer theme yeahhh ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒŠ. Summer time and the living is easy, right?! I love to enjoy the sunshine and swim in the ocean. Since two weeks it’s really hot in Spain. We had 30 degrees and since a few days ago it’s 35 degrees. In the south of Spain it’s already 40 degrees! The only thing I don’t like about the Summer is that I find it difficult to sleep. Last Sunday, I went with my friend Maria to drink a delicious chocolate milkshake. I love that so much ๐Ÿ‘Œ It’s really my addiction hahah.

Last Tuesday I was enjoying Summer time in the park near to my house with my mother and made some nice pictures. I finally could wear my favourite bikini from the surfbrand O’Neill. It was the first time that I was wearing a bikini again since a year ago. I can’t wait to go swimming in the outside swimming pools here ๐ŸŠ I also can’t wait to go surfing again and to swim in the ocean again. The beach is my home ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒŠย I was made for sunny days.

Much love ๐Ÿ’•,

Today it’s my 25th birthday yeah! ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ’•

Hola lovelies ๐Ÿ’•,

Today itโ€™s the first of June and my 25th birthday. I love the month June so much because itโ€™s my birthday month and because Summer is around the corner which is my favourite season ever. Iโ€™m so old hahah no ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ‘ต. Iโ€™m just a quarter of a century. I used to not like birthdays since I turned 20 because I didnโ€™t like to get older. Now, I realize that getting older is a beautiful privilege. Some people get sick and canโ€™t get any older and die young. Iโ€™m grateful that I get older. Getting older isnโ€™t that bad. You get older and wiser, right? ๐Ÿ˜ I will never grow up like Peter Pan. In my mind I will stay young, wild & free. In this blog post Iโ€™m going to talk about my birthday and a reflection about life and this year.

Thank you all so so SO much for all the support, friendship and understanding I get on this beautiful blogging community. I never knew I would meet so many awesome, amazing and beautiful people here on WordPress and also on Instagram. Iโ€™m also so happy with my mental health community and all the amazing people I met when I shared my story of having anxiety. Iโ€™m really grateful for all the amazing friendships I made online. I never looked so much forward to my birthday. I already got so many birthday wishes on social media. Thank you all so much! It means the world to me that you thought of me and wrote me a birthday wish. I also got a card and present from my bestie in The Netherlands, a card from a Spanish friend and some other cards and presents have to arrive. I still have to open it and read it. I saved it for today. Iโ€™m really grateful for all of this. Iโ€™m really having a great birthday. You guys are da best and definitely make my day! ๐Ÿ’•

My mother bought me this cute star balloon for my birthday! I really love it so much. The letters are in gold & glitter and say happy birthday in Spanish. It has helium so it’s going to last for a while. Yeahhh, it’s my birthday month! It was also finally time to wear this cute dress which I bought a few months ago. It’s not that warm but inside in my home it’s warm enough. I have to wear this today!

This year was a great year because I finally graduated college. This was my main goal to achieve this year which was a success. I learnt to never give up. I learnt that failing an exam is not the end of the world because you can always try again. I learnt that doing my best is enough. I learnt that itโ€™s better to have a few real friends than a million of fake friends. I travelled to some amazing places which I already know but never canโ€™t get enough of it, which were to Santander, Granada and Madrid. I also went to the fiestas week in Valladolid in September and enjoyed the tapas, the time with my friends and went to amazing concerts of Rosana, David Otero, and La Oreja De Van Gogh, and many more amazing artists. I also got some pictures with some of my favourite artists. I also went to the concert of the Spanish talentshow Operaciรณn Triunfo in Madrid in March with Maria which was so amazing. It was one of the best concert Iโ€™ve ever went to. I also went to the day of signing cdโ€™s in Valladolid in February and met Roi, Thalia, Mireya and Marina of this talentshow. There I met also some amazing girls which are now my friends. Music unites people.

I also enjoyed and had a great time when I went to The Netherlands in June, in August and with Christmas. It was great to see my family and friends again. Itโ€™s great to know that nothing change even if you are miles apart. In August, I enjoyed a nice weekend with my best friend in Utrecht. This was such a nice city where I had never been to. We went to the exhibition of Harry Potter and also went clubbing and stayed in a hostel. We had an awesome time together. This year I did for the first time karaoke with my friendโ€™s birthday in January in Spain. I canโ€™t wait to do that again. I also saw the Holy Week in March in Valladolid which was beautiful with all the processions. I went bowling in March too for the first time since so many years with my friends and really enjoyed it.

This year I learned that when women are united nobody can stop us. I went to the first feminist strike in Spain in March. I never went to a demonstration before. It was amazing to see all these women walking together. We made history. We are starting a revolution and together we can change the world ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ’œ Women all over the world are united. During this demonstration in Valladolid I also met a friend. I love to meet people and make friends all over the world. This year I also went to some bars in Valladolid which I didnโ€™t know such as the library cafรฉ. I love to know new places. Last month, I went to the musical of The Beauty and the Beast with my friend and my mother. I made a picture with the actors. Now, Iโ€™m enjoying Spring time in Valladolid and drinking delicious smoothies and milkshakes. I love nature in Spring so much. Last week, I went to a museum and saw a beautiful exhibition of photography of Willy Ronis and a art exhibition of the Spanish painter Joaquรญn Sorolla. It was such a long time ago that I went to a museum. I love art ๐ŸŽจโค๏ธ

Iโ€™m so happy with all the experiences, travels and memories Iโ€™ve made this year. There are still so many songs that I want to sing, waves I want to surf, pictures I want to take, memories I want to made, people I want to meet, concerts I want to go to, beautiful places I want to travel to, books I want to read, poems and blog posts I want to write, and so many things I want to experience in this big and amazing world. I still donโ€™t know everything about life and I still don’t know what I want to do with my life. What I know is that I want to follow my heart and my dreams. This new year I hope to find a career I love. This Summer my brother Rafael and his Spanish girlfriend Verรณnica are going to marry in Spain. I love weddings ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿ’ I canโ€™t wait to celebrate this beautiful day all together with our family. I already have my perfect fuchsia dress. Life isnโ€™t perfect. Every day I learn something new. Life can be though sometimes but itโ€™s a beautiful chaos and a big aventure. I hope you can all stay in my life and join me in this beautiful adventure called life ๐Ÿ’•

If one thing I know for sure is that Iโ€™ll always try to make this world a better place because we live on such a beautiful planet! I love La Pachamama! ๐ŸŒ Peace, love & happiness to all of you! ๐Ÿ˜˜

Thank you all for reading my blog post. I will speak to you all in my next post. In my next blog post I will share more pictures of my birthday, what I did on my birthday and the presents and cards I got ๐Ÿ’Œ๐ŸŽ

I love you all so much ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜,

xoxo Christina

5 reasons why I love going to concerts ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽถ

Hey lovely bloggers ๐Ÿ˜,

I love to write about mental health but I also love to write about other things on my blog. I love to write about all the things I love to do in life such as going to concerts, reading, singing, surfing, photography, travelling and much more. This blog post will be about 5 reasons why I love going to concerts. I have been to a lot of concerts in my life such as: Alvaro Soler, Enrique Iglesias, Ron Pope, The Script, Ellie Goulding, The XX, Sean Koch Trio, Odesza, Avicii, La Oreja De Van Gogh, David Otero, Gente De Zona, Don Omar, Boyce Avenue, Chefโ€™s Special, Passenger and Ed Sheeran came to sing one song which was awesome!, The Vaccines, Huecco, Miss Caffeina and many more.

This year I already bought concert tickets to go to the concert of Operacion Triunfo next month. This is a Spanish singing contest, a talentshow. Last Monday it ended. I will post a blog post about this contest another day. The concert will be in Madrid with the 16 participants. I canโ€™t wait to see them all live with my lovely Spanish friend Maria! โค I also will stay two days in Madrid which is awesome. Madrid is one hour away by train from Valladolid. Last weekend 4 participants of Operacion Triunfo went to Valladolid to sign cdโ€™s. I was in the row for three hours in the cold but I survived and got my cd signed! It was an amazing experience to meet these beautiful people and I gave them some cards which I wrote for them. I also took pictures with them and one girl named Thalia gave me two kisses on the cheek like a friend greeting in Spain. That was so damn cute! โค

This was last weekend when I got my cd of Operacion Triunfo signed. Roi, Thalia, Mireya and Marina from Operacion Triunfo came to Valladolid. It was so nice to meet them and take pictures with them! โค I loved the good vibes ๐Ÿ˜€

I also bought tickets to see Pablo Alboran which is also a famous Spanish singer. This concert will be in Valladolid, my home city on the second of June. Just one day after my birthday which is the first of June. This is an amazing present for me because I always wanted to go to his concert! He sings so beautiful and his songs are really beautiful โค

Here are my 5 reasons why I love going to concerts:

1. The good vibes

Even though I get sometimes a bit anxious about being in rows and about the crowd, I really enjoy concerts so much. I will never sit or stand in the front with all people but just at a place where I can watch the concert and feel comfortable. I love the good vibes at a concert. Everyboody is happy to see their favourite artist live. Everybody is just so at peace and happy and nobody is judging you. I really love that so much. I also love when everybody is singing the song which the artist is playing and you can just feel how everybody connect with each other through the music. I also forget the whole world around me during a concert and Iโ€™m just enjoying that moment. During a concert you forget the problems you have in life and you just enjoy life โค

2. Making new friends

At a concert itโ€™s easy to make new friends and make connection with people. Everybody is there for the same reason. We are all fans. I love to meet new people with the same music taste. I love that soooo much. Last weekend, during the day of signing cdโ€™s from Operacion Triunfo I met some lovely girls and made friends. It was so nice to talk to them about who they like from Operacion Triunfo and be connected. Music definitely connects people.

I met this lovely girl called Ines last weekend when I got my cd of Operacion Triunfo signed. I also met her friend Sandra. It’s so nice to meet new people who share the same music taste โค I love to make new friends ๐Ÿ™‚

3. Music is life

I just canโ€™t live without music. Imagine life without music…. That would be definitely a hell. Music is always there for you, in good and bad times. Sometimes I canโ€™t find the rights words to explain how Iโ€™m feeling at that moment. Then I will find a song which explains exactly what Iโ€™m feeling at that moment. I think thatโ€™s really awesome. Music unites people from all over the world in a beautiful way. Music will always be there for you when you are feeling bad and cheer you up. Music will be there when you are happy and you can sing all the lyrics loud out and dance to your favourite songs. Iโ€™m so happy music exists โค The world is more beautiful with music! โค

4. Meeting your favourite artist

Sometimes when you are in a concert you can meet your favourite artist, talk with them and take pictures with them. I got to meet Alvaro Soler, David Otero, Ron Pope, Rosana and some participants from Operacion Triunfo. This was definitely so awesome! I could take pictures with them and let them sign me a card or a cd. I loved to meet them all especially Alvaro Soler because the concert was in a little theatre and we had time to talk to him afterwards. With the other artists, we all had to rush and take a picture and byebye. I said to Alvaro Soler that my mother was born in Valladolid and more stuff and it was so nice and he was so cute and asdfghjkl โค Meeting your favourite artist after being fan after such a long time is definitely one of my favourite experiences of going to a concert โค

Me and my friend Shams went to the concert of Alvaro Soler. We sang all the songs out loud and were so happy when at the end we could finally meet him and made some pictures with him. He also signed his picture and talked a bit with us. I still have all these memories in my room and will forever cherish them โค

5. The awesome memories you make

The awesome memories you make during a concert will always stay with you. All my life I will go to concerts with my friends and family. I always make videos and pictures during a concert to cherish this beautiful moments with my friends and family forever. You will never forget that day that you finally saw your favourite artist live. Itโ€™s just so awesome to remember that forever.
